Our first restaurant visit in Marrakesh as it was round the corner form our RIAD. A bottle of water is 35 Dirhams, the shop next to it sells for 6 Dirhams Overpriced! food portions were small as well..

We actually went to this restaurant a couple of years ago and couldn't get in on our recent visit. Set over a couple of floors the decor is traditionally Moroccan, we liked that they hadn't tried to 'modernise' it. Lovely lighting and belly dancers through the evening. We did make one huge error - not knowing our way around the... More

We had lunch here on our first day in Marrakech after seeing the palaces in the Medina. Really nice cosy restaurant, and the food was excellent, and so was a nice cold Casablanca beer.

I found this restaurant close to my Riad, by looking first at the terrace overlooking a nice square. It just gave the impression of a small palace from the outside. I dined there a couple of times when in Marakech and I was not disappointed. I had excellent tagines here - a vegetarian one and a special lamb and apricot.... More

It may look a bit too touristy, but the food is very good, the service excellent and the ambiance very nice. Huge portions and nice cocktails!

Le Tanjia was recommended to us by the owner of the Riad we were staying at in the Kasbah, and is well worth a visit. Overlooking the Mellah square in the southern part of the Medina, it is interestingly situated to observe the daily activities from the terrace while dining. Nicely decorated and spacious, there is a very pleasant atmosphere... More

Enjoyed an evening meal here. Nice atmosphere. Service is a bit slow but if you're not in a rush then it is definitely worth the wait. Had one of the best tagines here that I've ever eaten. Simply delicious. Would avoid coming here at lunch time though..it's definitely only an evening venue.

My husband and I have eaten here twice now and on both occasions been more than happy with the food. We had two mains, two soft drinks and mint tea each and the total bill was 370 dirhams (around £30) including 10% service charge-yes this was written on by hand as mentioned in other reviews but this isn't unusual in... Situated in a quiet square, we only found this place from a guidebook recommendation. Initially we only went for the 2 for 1 on cocktails and to watch the sunset from the terrace. Lovely relaxing atmosphere and attentive staff and a good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, good music too! I ordered a Shisha, there is a choice... More

Traditional Moroccan restaurant set over 3 floors with a courtyard. Wonderful vies straight on to the Koutoubia mosque offering romantic ambiance especially at sunset. Suitable for individuals, groups and families with children as the menu also provides stone oven baked pizza and pasta. Every evening belly dancers entertain the guests around 21.30 For a short show
