I was a bit worried about eating at one of the stall in the square. I had been warned by friends who had been here. But after reading the reviews in Trip Advisor my girlfriend and I gave a try. It was full. We had to wait for a few minutes for two empty seats in the long tables. Ordered... More

Lovely friendly welcome here, they have a range of seafood (fried fish, calamari) as well as an aubergine dip which is great.. other things there which I haven't tried yet. Sat next to a lovely Moroccan family, a great start to a wonderful night. I ate my fill for about £3 so good value too.

THE best place if you want really fresh fish. Be prepared to eat with your fingers...... I can particularly recommend the calamari and baby sole. All served up with a variety of salads and hand cut chips for less than £10 for 2!

On the positive side, when in Marrakech you have to indulge this experience, but it's a minefield, with hustle, bustle, and hassle to grab your custom! The endless stalls vary slightly, so it's really down to what you fancy to eat. However it is very inexpensive, so you get what you pay for. No:14 My friend had the mixed fish... More

The best food experience by far ! I have traveld the world and visited many of the well known 5 star restaurants in London, New York and Tokyo. This restaurant challenged them all ! The food is super fresh. The incredibly delicious fresh taste will make you eat slowly to always remember the taste. I warmly recommend KRITA N° 14... More

Do your best to deflect the aggressive marketing of the food stalls and wait for your tiny spot on the bench at Krita 14. The food is amazing and costs almost nothing. We shared friendly, satisfied smiles while elbow to elbow with tourists and locals alike. Find this stall!

Recommended by our Riad, this was the authentic real deal. No 14 only sells fish and salad (and chips I think). We had calamari, chunks of white Fish fried to order, served with bread, tomato salad/salsa, bashed fried aubergine and peppers. One of the young men went off to get 2 drinks from a different stall and total bill 75... More

We ate at some random stall in Djemaa el Fna on the first night and by the end of our trip we thought that was the worst meal we had. Towards the end of the trip fortunately, we had been on such a wonderful culinary journey that we thought overall, Moroccan food is pretty amazing. Thank goodness otherwise, based on... More

We had calamari which was excellently cooked and very tasty. Do not be put of by the look of the stand or the fact everything is cooked in open -air. You could see the chefs preparing the food in front of you and it can not be fresher then that. They are offering you bread and dips before your meal,... More

At night lots of food stalls are set up on the Djemaa el-Fna central square. Most of them are terrible. In general, spot the busy places where the locals eat! A Moroccon advised us to go and eat at Korete, which is stall 14 and in western style it is spelled "Krita". You have to push away every one trying... More
