Very cheap, tasty food. As for a Moroccan snack very varied, because you can have all of the traditional tajines and their famous couscous on Friday, but also a large choice of pasta, gratins, meats etc.

Visited this local restaurant on our trip to Marrakech, and was not dissapointed! The restaurant was small and local, and the food came fast. I had a chicken tagine + a kiwi juice, and my boyfriend a mixed grill plate. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

It is very clean and tidy restaurant, good for dining on a budget. The restaurant is specialized in local Moroccan dishes as it is very popular restaurant among locals. staff are also very friendly.

We tried several things over our stay, everything was good hearty food at a good price. And we loved the chocolate mousse a few times!!

If you want to have a lunch or dinner as locals in Marrakech, Haj Boujemaa is great option. Service is usually fast, menu is rich, offering salads, snack food, grills and Moroccan meals like variety of tajines, couscous or tanjia. It is a busy local place, so don't expect western cleanness, but it is nothing terrible or dangerous. Meals are... More

Very traditional cozy restaurant, typical locals stop for home made food. Delish local plates. Tried the following: chicken lemon tajin, lamb prunes tajin, lamb brains tajin, chicken skewers. All were excellent. The service however is super slow.

Plats haj boujemma is a cute little local spot, the service could do with a big boost. Tables should be cleared promptly and I shouldn't have to make eye contact before u advance to even offer a menu. The food is standard, it's snack size, a mixed grill anywhere else in the world is generally a larger dish with a... More

I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone wants to experience a real Moroccan cuisine in Local atmosphere. ( no alcohol is served as this place is made for locals). Very reasonable prices for those tasty meals. As im living in Marrakesh i may go to this restaurant couple of times per week.
