Gorgeous little restaurant situated in the midst of the busy medina, when you step in it's like an oasis full of plants and the most beautiful green decor - even the bathroom was beautiful! We ate here twice and the food was great, only downside...More

Highly recommend this fantastic restaurant. Delicious food and a great menu. Loved the atmosphere here and the service and decor and even the great books available to read. Book yourself a table for the evening and you won't be disappointed!

Trendy restaurant within a Riad in the middle of the Marrakech Medina souk. Good food and ambiance, nice outdoor seating.

We stopped for a light lunch and to escape the maddening crowds. It’s a pleasant respite in a crazy city. Food was good. They were very busy, so service was not stellar, but acceptable considering the busy period we visited.

Restaurant is a respite in the Medina. Warm atmosphere, lots of greenery and a nice set up in the courtyard. That said, service is poor and food is average at best. Too few servers who aren’t particularly friendly or knowledgeable means that when you ask...More

With a street closure nearby and a building site entrance, expectations were slightly knocked, but take the few extra steps to walk the stairs into a cool, laid back terrace restaurant with flame candles and rooftop views. While not cheap, comparing similarly to UK gastro...More

Dear Sir, I have been there for lunch. As such I have no ideia if they project films at night. It is probably better for you if you ask directly the restaurant. Best regards

Habitual visitors to the ancient labyrinthine streets of the Marrakech Medina will be familiar with the Cafe des Epices, a reknown meeting point and perfect location for a respite from shopping excursions in the souks. Many will also be aware of Kamal Laftimi’s other much heralded establishment, Le Jardin, in which he and interior architect Anne Favier have created a true magical oasis located within a beautifully renovated 16th Century building. Entering through an unassuming door, one comes into a lush garden dotted with tables and lights surrounded by the majestic building and the terraces above where one can lounge in the evening and watch the occassional open air projected classic films. The design is very much in the spirit of the 1960s and 70s heyday of Marrakech, a combination of Moroccan and European chic, which is equally accentuated by Norya Ayron’s acclaimed Pop Up Shop located on the premises. With a menu that offers a choice of traditional Morrocan and European cuisine.
