This resturant/hotel is down an alley and on the main thoroughfare of the madina, all we could see was the menu on a stand. A man was standing by it and when my husband and son and I decided we would try this place out, this man led us down this short alley. There was a black front door in... More

We went here without reservation after finding our first choice was closed. Turned out to be an excellent choice, great food, good ambience. The owner came and chatted to us and we had a lovely evening in a very special setting.

The restaurant is in the back of the building. But when you get there is it like stepping into a different world. It's very beautiful! The staff should very friendly. The food is lovely and great opportunity to get local food. We were a bigger group and the staff was a bit confused sometime about our order. So one had... More

An amazing black and white and mirrored art decor interior and a warm welcome from the friendly staff, but the food really does not meet the same standards as the decor. Had incredibly tough chicken dish here. How to make chicken tough! Seriously unchewable!

It was very quiet when we visited so the atmosphere could have been better. We did visit in March - it's not peak season so this might have been the reason. The service was brilliant and the food delicious. It would have been brilliant if it had been a bit busier. Serves alcohol.

My husband and I dined here a year ago and once again returned. The restaurant is beautiful! Sitting by an open fire in an Art Deco room was lovely! A welcome calm after a day in the medinas. The vegetarian starters were superb! But sadly, our vegetarian cous cous ( which eventually arrived after a very long wait) was cold...... More

Don't be put off by the approach to the restaurant which is down a very dark and bleak alley because once you are through the door you are in a completely different world. The tables are well spaced so you are sitting on top of the people next to you and the fire was lit making it very warm and... More

This restaurant has beautiful decor - very Art Deco, and very nice staff. But the food is not as good as it could be. The starter of Pastilla done in small rolls of pastry was a little over cooked. The main course I had was a tagine of chicken with lemon and olives and was very tasty, but the dessert... More

We liked this restaurant so much that we dined there twice (as did at least one other group) during our one week stay in Marrakech. We thought the restaurant stylish, with different styles of tables and chairs spaced nicely apart, on rugs on the tiled floor. Moroccan artefacts are displayed in glassed niches around the dining room. The fireplace was... More
