Really good value, great ambiance, lovely service, and delicious food! My friend got the 110 dirham set menu which came with either a soup or salad, a main with a side of couscous (he got the kefta tagine--the best we've had on the trip), a dessert (he chose the traditional yogurt), and either coffee or tea. I chose the 180... More

best Morrocan salad in Marrakech but order one between two because it is very large - like most of the portions. Lovely shadey terrace with a bit of a dodgy view over the rooftops. great value for money

We visited Souk Kafe twice and at the recommendation of another traveler. This was some of the best food we had while in Marrakech. The chicken pastille was wonderful. Staff are pleasant, helpful and the live music (in the evening) was actually quite nice (some of it isn't). Be prepared to climb a lot of stairs to get there!

We found this on our way to the main square from our riad. The staff were excellent, the food delicious and all for a very reasonable price. My friend had a three course meal for about £10 which included a soup, tagine with bread and delicious yoghurt desert. We went in the evening and sat on the terrace. I would... More

Down the alley just past Kui-Zin, Le Souk Kafe is intriguing from the outside, very typical old-style Moroccan which made us go in! We sat on the top floor in the terrace under the umbrellas and enjoyed very cheap drinks, ice cold water and a shisha. Very relaxing, very friendly service, very good.P.S - food looked great!

As anyone who's been to Mararakech knows, after a morning in the souks, one needs an hour or so to decompress. Souk Kafe offers just this. We had an excellent meal -- my husband enjoyed the pasta and I had a fish tangine. The nicest part though was having the opportunity to people watch on the upper terrace, sipping my... More

We spent almost a week in Marrakech, eating out every lunch and dinner. In that time this was the best local food we had. Thoroughly recommend both the meatball (Kofta) tagine and the chicken tagine.

I stumbled across Souk Kafe because of the enticing artwork at the entrance. I arrived for lunch and had a quiet table on the terrace. The menu was varied and reasonably priced. The food was delicious and plentiful. Make sure you arrive with an empty stomach, as the combinations of spices in every dish will play on your palate. I... More

Stopped here for a quick drink and snack. I did not see any beer or wine on the menu so had a freshly made lemon drink which was very refreshing. We had the Haria soup with bread, lemon and olives. This was full of flavor and perhaps not spicy enough for our taste but still excellent. For two drinks and... More

I went with my friend on 11th March 2014 after reading some reviews on here. It was raining so we didn't really want to have to walk around looking for somewhere. It was easy to find and very nicely decorated inside. There was also live music playing which added to the atmosphere. We both ordered the set menu. When it... More
