A real treat. We first ate here ten years ago. A decade later it has lost none of its charm. The petit menu was more than enough. The sevice is simply first class.

We were just out wandering, looking for something to eat, when we came across a sign to Ksar Es Saoussan. We had come across it on Tripadvisor and had decided to eat there but as often happened to us in our meanderings through the souk we came across it unexpectedly. What a find. We were led down a narrow alley... More

We visited this restaurant because of some of the good reviews on here, we wish that we hadn't bothered. It's a beautiful inside & the staff we're friendly but it just a tourist trap. We had the smallest set menu which cost 700 Dirham in total (about £55.00) it certainly wasn't worth the money. All the alcohol that was included... More

The restaurant is in a lovely building but the food was terrible! Traditional Morroccan salad which was basically 8 different types of boiled veg. We were also given a tray of olives to start which were lovely but the main dish was chicken tagine which was basically chicken with olives. Very average to say the least.

We took the opportunity of finding this restaurant in daylight because it can be quite tricky as other reviewers have said, Going back later then proved very easy - about 5 min walk from the square (assuming you take the right exit). We were warmly welcomed into this fab restored riad and were invited to go up to the other... More

If you're looking for an evening to remember for a long time to come (for all the right reasons) then you shouldn't miss dining at Ksar Es Saoussan. Tucked down a dead end side street behind a huge wooden door is a lovingly restored Moroccan palace, delicately lit by candles and perfumed with sweet spices. You are invited to look... More

From the escort from rue Laksour to the restaurant throughout the evening, we were well looked after in a fascinating and charmingly appointed riad. The host was superb, the service everything one could ask for, value for money and flavour at its best. If you like Moroccan food, then an evening at Ksar Es Saoussan will hit the spot.

My boyfriend and I called up this restaurant 1 hour before dining and they gladly took us. I would recommend making a reservation as the restaurant is quite small. It's also worth letting them know that you are coming as this place is difficult to find due to the windy streets, however, you are greeted on the main road where... More

When it comes to restaurants, food is the most important thing to me. The food at this restaurant is very good (not as good as Al Fassia, but still excellent). The morroccan salads (in particular the tomate confits) were delicious. You have the option of choosing between three fixed menus (varying in size and price) which include an aperitif and... More
