Cafe Arabe gives a more upscale atmosphere making it ideal for a date night or group dinner when you're looking for something less chaotic than a meal in the souks or a side street restaurant. The food quality is great, the service is definitely more Western-styled (formal) and attentive. I'd go back, but it isn't the best for traditional Moroccan... More

Cafe Arabe is on the tourist guides and as we landed in Marrakech in time for lunch we decided to immerse ourselves here. Unfortunately, the menu was largely Italian, service quite slow and prices quite high. It was OK, but after exploring Marrakech more over the next few days we found a lot better options and suspect Cafe Arabe only... More

After an energy sapping day in the Medina we ventured up the stairs to the rooftop bar. Yes it's a Muslim country but I needed a beer so I didn't care. Great service and views, the seating is a little uncomfortable due to the lack of backs to the chairs. The drinks are London prices but they're licence must be... More

You pay for the nice view (of the restaurant) more than for incredible food. The food was all right, and the service fast and friendly, but they did take a little bit long to bring us the bill despite us asking them a few times. Again, the restaurant is stunning. It's got a good ambiance (music, etc) to go for... More

What a great roof terrace. Ambience soothing, with 'live' electronic music maker working from the corner of the bar. Smells, sounds, tastes, service - all combined to make our evening one to remember. No rush, just time to sit and contemplate as we worked our way through aperitifs, starters, "nos plats" and digestifs. Moroccan salad starters were tasty and varied,... More

Roundly ignored by staff. Even when we asked repeatedly for service. Rude attitude. Ordered from the Italian menu. Lasagne was days old. Tasted stale. Tasted like it had been defrosted from the freezer. View of a construction site from the terrace.

The restaurant's rooftop provided a spectacular view of Marrakech. But even that was topped by the incredible menu and delicious dinner that was picture perfect.

The food at this restaurant is standard Moroccan fare - couscous, tajine etc. The service for us was seriously lacking. The server needed to be reminded multiple times on things we had asked for. They seemed to be more attentive to larger parties than smaller tables like the two of us. Not a place I would visit again or recommend.

Great restaurant. Location is relatively central, not far from Djemaa el Fna with a great rooftop terrace and a cool ambience. Food was good and relatively well proved and some nice drinks. Really nothing to complain about.

This cafe was near our Riad and a great place for supper after a day of exploring. The food is good, we ate mostly Italian and the service is good. All the waiters seem to know some English
