We visited this place on a Tuesday and there was a terrific party going on. I would have stayed but there was too much smoke and had to leave. The day after we visited it for dinner, we weren't very hungry but the owner, a very nice man who spoke spanish perfectly, said we could split one of his small... More

Excellent coffee, relaxing atmosphere. Seems a hangout for wealthy young Morrocans. Good ambience. Friendly staff and you can choose the music.

Being with a group of friends on a study Tour, visiting Barcelona Cafe opened my eyes to the young moroccan life that I never expected. While loud music plays, adolescents dance and go wild even without the presence of alcohol. Locals in the cafe are so inviting and acknowledge foreigners who come to visit. In my experience, I was dragged... More

We came to this place for coffee and ended up staying to listen to some traditional Moroccan music. The atmosphere was incredible and we couldn't have felt more welcome from the people there. We danced, and got an amazing experience. Definitely check it out !!

We popped in here one lunchtime on our way back to our Riad nearby. The staff could not have been more helpful. On hearing (in basic French!) we would like cold drinks and some kind of veggie panino, we discussed options - with some humour at the linguistic misunderstandings - and then they sourced cheese from elsewhere, producing a dish... If you want to run away from crowd placês this is a good option. We had 2paninis, spaguetti (one platéia for 2 is enough!) and some cookies and Mint tea. Good qualitaty of the food and very clean with clean toliets. Fair price 14euros for 2!. It is quit dark inside but the food and service is good. You will... More

We had spent many hours walking around the souks and were in need of a break. The Barcelona Cafe was just what we needed, comfortable, cool, great coffee and very clean toilets.

A really good espresso coffee in the medina, added with a little bit of chocolate that gives it a great flavour. The atmosphere is fantastic, we even stay there listening some boys playing a fantastic spanish guitar. Superb

Fes - city of contrasts?) Imagine Fes - narrow ancient streets, donkeys, a bit of dust, everything is white or grey, calm athmosphere, locals dressed mostly in orthodox / traditional clothes, and theeeeen you enter Barcelona - suddenly like a cold shower you're teleported to "hot", laud coloured, "spicy" european place with cream of local youth in trendy clothes and...
