An excellent place for drinks and good food. No alcohol. A very clean large and well laid out restaurant in Oued fez. Excellent service although lacks English speaking staff. Good for meetings and family outing. Most recommended.

For a fixed menu of about 3 entrees, this café has European and Moroccan food with a twist. The service is excellent and you can purchase an array of cocktails, wines, and beer at this restaurant when you have the craving. They also do dessert....More

Great Lamb Tajine with prunes. Succulent! Veery strange way of paying however. If you pay by credit card, they make you pay in Euro with an arbitrary exchange rate - claiming that it is a national law - that we however did not experience anywhere...More

Beautifully restored Riad with garden in the centre of the Fes medina. Excellent meal although limited choice when we went in January. Good Moroccan wines available.

We planned to eat at the Ruined Garden but discovered that they did not serve any alcohol, so we asked for a recommendation. And how lucky we were! You could not tell that you were stepping into a large beautiful garden, with a tiled walk...More

If you are going for dinner you should call ahead and they can have someone meet you at your riad or at one of the gates (and they will guide you back). That said, you step in off of one of the winding ways in...More

This is a little piece of paradise in a busy Medina. We had a couple of evening meals here and also just stopped in for a coffee one late afternoon. It has a beautiful garden setting on entry and you can eat inside or out....More

We stopped by this oasis of peacefulness for a coffee on a couple of mornings and enjoyed great service, tranquility and good coffee too. You can eat lunch and dinner and we intend to do so when we return.

a lovely atmosphere, so we were very happy that we could have dinner without reservation. We were with 4 friends. That night, 3 of us became really sick. We have eaten the salads and fish.

Dear people. Whilst all the cafes have internet regretfully the owners cannot read or speak English. Try sending them a message in French. French is their second language. Failing that try Monza palace in fez oued which is... More

Description
The Fez Café is a charming Moroccan bistro set at the edge of our vast garden and topped by an immense rooftop terrace - perfect for a dinner under the stars. Under the careful guidance of Michel Biehn himself, a Provencal food connoisseur with three award-winning cook books to his name, our chef at the Fez Cafe crafts a market-fresh menu every day which draws its flavours from the Morocan tradition, the East, and the home-grown organic vegetables from our own garden. We only use fresh seasonal ingredients. Our bar and Foosball table help make it a fun Medina meeting place. Open everyday for lunch, and dinner. Michel Biehn is the author of several award-winning cookbooks published in France, Europe and the United States. For a few hours or a few days, Michel Biehn, aided by his wonderful Chef Hicham, the head chef of the FEZ CAFE, will be happy to share with their guests, their oriental recipies and secrets of Moroccan cuisine. The cooking class starts by shopping on the market with Si Mohamed, followed by the actual cooking of the selected recipies with both Michel and Hicham. Then, it will be time to enjoy the prepared meal. Price:80 € per person.
