This is for me my reference restaurant in Algiers. An old traditional restaurant with a deco that takes us back to the late 30s when Algiers was still a french colonial territory. The deco is wonderfull and cosy, the staff is very professional and friendly, and the menu varies from the french cuisine to the typical magrebin flavours with a... More

This place offers a large variety of French specialties, I have been there for a business occasion and really enjoyed my dinner; the beef filet was excellent and tender with perfect cooking, the crème caramel was home made and the service friendly and efficient. Definitely a place to go back to.

Great food and good wine with French prices to match. Nice interior with reproduction Brughel the Elder paintings on the walls. Seafood was fresh and the lamb shank excellent.

If you like French food, this small old restaurant is for you! Built in 1942, it has served meals for over seventy years. The interior is like walking into a small museum. The food is tasty, but smaller portions, good wine and desserts.

dined here during the World Cup. Rue Tancredi is not on maps, which is the major hassle - just go up Mhidi Larbi from the Poste and this is in the first grotty street on the left. Yellow awning. Food def v francophone (pas de surpris avec ce nom). Had a pastis, millefeuille of snails, and braised beef, which was... More

This is probably the only real restaurant that worth a visit in Alger. Located in the city center (not easy at all to park in the area and, to see the restaurant in the little street the first time), it offers the meal you don't expect. Quite an extensive (for Algeria) menu with also a dedicated daily offer of particular... More

Ok, at first it is difficult to park if you are driving, but once you leave this hassle behind, you will be ready for a real nice time at this restaurant located in a very dynamic area of Algiers. The food is good and the service too. I was there a month ago and my business lunch was up to... More

A very limited menu, but a proof of freshness. One of the oldest restaurants in Algiers, closed during the sad war, and now opened. The meat is great, the wine selection includes spanish and french choices.

Best wine collection in town. Good food. Service takes time but its Algerian way of living. Cold beer. Difficult to park during the day but at night there is no problem. Toilets should be cleaner.

Food is super classic French, if you are looking for something else, this is not the place. Foie Gras, escargots, etc... All served to perfection. Wine list was good and the waiter's advice was spot on. Deserts were superb: apple tart, strawberries, creme brulee... I would go back any day.
