We were visiting Ames for a college visit and enjoyed a lovely breakfast here. Absolutely delicious. It's not very convenient to the campus, though.

I had the fish (mahi mahi) tacos with black beans and rice. The portion was very filling for $13 at lunch. The amount of fish in each taco was more substantial than most other restaurants, and the black beans were very flavorful. Amazingly friendly and...More

Good food, good service and nice ambience. Highly rated as the "must do" place and it met expectations. Special, that evening was steel head trout in a wonderful sauce. Fish tacos were mediocre.

There are always lines when we have tried to get in except one time and we loved it. Big portions, ingredients very fresh.

I have serious food allergies, and the staff could not have been kinder. The food was amazing, and the people were very welcoming. Will definitely go back!!
