Two miles from home, probably the most successful business of any kind in a newly developed residential and retail area, The Cafe belies its simplistic title. There is frequently a waiting line at lunch or dinner, and most people know to not give up and go elsewhere. Menu is not extensive but includes several daily features; salmon is one of... More

Food was served cold. Took back to kitchen and heated up food I had already eaten on. Really question their food safety.

The Cafe is expensive for little Iowa but they work hard to bring the highest quality and originality to the area. We are always delighted at the ambience and originality.

Have had numerous meetings over Breakfast at this restaurant. The food is always very good & the staff is very friendly. There is also a bakery attached to the restaurant. The cookies and the pudding are both very good!

I wasn't able to take many pictures because the food was too amazing and ate most of it before I realized to take a picture. Overall though, my family and I had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and the attached bar was a major plus! Very clean facilities and just great time overall. Would definitely come here... More

The Cafe was very quaint and comfortable with great service and delicious food. It was a bit of a drive from I35, but well worth it. The turkey meatloaf sandwich was wonderful!

Diverse brunch menu. Although we wished they had a few more offerings they had a few savory and a few sweet dishes. Our food came quickly. They even offered to split our dishes for us knowing we planned on sharing. We got there around 9 on Sunday. When we left about 45 minutes later they had a wait.

Very nice place, very swanky, cool and trendy. Service was good after about a 20 minute wait. Once seated, drinks and food came fairly quickly. Couple things to note, no free refills on soda, and while waiting make sure you have comfortable shoes on. Food was very good, I had the catfish po boy with potatoes...Very good and the potatoes... Honest truth this is one of the best places to eat in town. The wait isn't that long, the prices are reasonable and the ambiance of the place is perfect. There is never anything on the menu that isn't good to eat. This restaurant uses the best meats, spices and vegetables from around the area and serves wonderful entrees. My... More
