The breakfast buffet is a good morning starter. Friendly staff and they are on top of keeping the tables clean and the glasses/cups filled.

We stayed at the motel next door and stopped here for breakfast. It's huge inside with lots of vintage diner-type stuff all around. We sat in a horseshoe-shaped counter seating about 9 people. We sat with one of the locals and started a fun conversation. By the time we left, there were a couple more folks sitting with us talking... More

The building was interesting and close to our hotel so we tried it out. The food was average. There was a nice selection on the menu. Bathroom needed attention. Staff was friendly.

We originally wanted to go Prairie Meadows for Thanksgiving but due to wait and the $25 price tag we hit up Max's. So happy that the wait was at PM because Max's had brisket that melted in your mouth and the most moist turkey ever. We will always do Thanksgiving here. My son, the worst eater around, said that the... More

We stopped here during lunch time. Part of the restaurant was closed off which I found was strange on a Saturday during a meal time. I noticed several folks who wanted booths but couldn't find one available. My hubby had the salad/soup bar which was simple but tasty. I had the club sandwich and side salad which was good. All... The place only had for other customers when we were seated. We both had the pulled pork dinner that were served with a biscuit rather than bun. The biscuit was dry and crumbled. The pork was tough and hard to chew. It was suppose to come with two sides. I ordered cottage cheese and French Fries. My husband ordered potato... More

Poor service. Food was average and could have been a little cleaner. Plenty of other options so I would hit some place else.

Maybe it was because we weren't truckers, but thought a soda fountain diner would be fun with kids. From the outside it looks old 1950-ish but clean and modern (i know, that doesn't make sense). Took over 2 hour for 6 of us, it was not busy (maybe 10 others in there) and the food was unremarkable. I don't remember... More

We have been visiting this truck stop yearly after our trips to adventureland and the food has always been great. So to say we were disappointed was an understatement. The buffet food was good and great chicken, however, the cold salad bar had little to be desired. The lettuce was all the white hard portions of the lettuce head and... More
