They offer varieties of Japanese food in the food court area. The price are reasonable for Japanese food. They also have a great selection of fresh food, meat, and snacks in the grocery section.

Fantastic food options from noodle bowls to sushi. People are very friendly and food is amazing. Some stalls are cash only but most accepts credit cards. The market attached to the food court has some great funds as well.

Possibly under new management, or at least more investors. The market has both groceries and cooking apparatus and utensils. The selection is primarily Japanese, but with a substantial amount of pan-Asian items. The produce, fish, and meat is fresh, good quality, and usually, though not always, labeled in both Japanese and English. Canned and packaged goods are another matter, and... More

Mitsuwa is pretty unique in the sense that they are much more than just an Asian market. They also have restaurants, a bakery, liquor, and a book/stationary store. But my wife goes for the authentic food items. Just the other day I stopped-in for Bonito flakes and White Miso soup. The place is always packed. I've never seen their parking... More

Just the best ramen anywhere, especially in the northwest suburbs. It's not a fancy place, just order and wait to be called up for you Ramen.

Mitsuwa offers a good variety of Japanese cuisine in a (somewhat hectic) food court-type setting. There are several choices of food vendors -- each offering something different. The food is fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. Authentic experience.

We often visit Mitsuwa as it is an excellent Japanese supermarket. That said, you will also find in Mitsuwa a food court with a variety of Japanese and Korean foods. You will also find sushi and rolls pre-packed to go (be sure to get some free ice at the back of the supermarket to keep your sushi cold and fresh).... More

This place is awesome!! It's like a trip to Japan. It's like a bunch of shops under one roof. They have a grocery store with all kinds of interesting things. The bakery shop is great. Always have to try different items. Very yummy. There is a large area that has sushi made to go. They have a liqueur store, video... More

Besides the great grocery store where you can find just about anything to complete your Asian meal - this place has a great food court. Be be warned - they are super busy during lunch hours as well as weekends and holidays. We had Bip bim bap from Mama's house that was pretty good. Super hot bowls, ask for kimchi... More
