This restaurant has some great home cooking at reasonable prices. We finished off our meal with a slice of pie!!

An old fashion cafe that maes you feel that you are in the past. The welcome is wonderful and the food is great. Prices are very reasonable and you won't leave hungry.
Visited for lunch and enjoyed the Amish sausage but the fried chicken dinner was some of the best we've ever had. Great breading and crispy served piping hot. The green beans and potatoes were excellent. Fresh home-made bread and apple butter completed an outstanding dinner!
Old fashioned meat loaf plate lunch served with delicious apple butter. Nothing but the chain restaurants at the exits from I57. The short drive into town gets you to a real restaurant.
I had the turkey dinner: turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes with gravy and succotash. They also brought freshly made bread with apple butter. My husband had a grilled Dutch sausage sandwich and french fries. We bought a pint of their apple butter to take home. We would definitely go again.
I love homemade mashed potatoes and gravy and oven fried chicken...but this restaurant also has great roasted beef and meatloaf. I would recommend bringing a big appetite!
We went on a weekday at lunch. The food was great, the food is "Home Cooking"! The prices are reasonable. The restaurant is very clean. The staff are very friendly. This is a very nice place to eat!
we had to order for carry out because we had a dog. we ordered off the menu and everything was boxed right up for us. bread stuffing/dressing is fantastic. sausage was great. tried shoo fly pie for the first time...definately something different. got plasticware and all the condiments. would definately go back.
Took my family there on a Sunday. Had the turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and corn. The turkey was moist and flavorful, but a little too much dark meat. The stuffing wasn't anything to tweet about. However, the mash potatoes were tasty! Service was average. Table was a little squished, BUT there were a bunch of crayons for the kids. Kudos!
