Over the years I've eaten here on and off, mostly for breakfast. They have the same thimble sized plastic water cups that look old and are a joke. Great bacon and food service.

Only in Ashton for two nights, we had breakfast here both mornings and a supper - nothing fancy, but good and tasty. Customers included a genuine cowboy, complete with Stetson and spurs...

We were passing through town and randomly chose Chriswell's for breakfast. Nothing special, but just what you'd expect from small town restaurant. Good food. Generous portions. Fast, friendly service. The pancakes were especially good. We'd stop again. The syrup container could have been a little cleaner, but then I added a little to its messiness too. The only thing missing... More

The food was great and prices too! Service was fine - just what you'd expect in a very small town who caters mostly to locals. Have been there before and would go again.

Food was good not outstanding. They must have been busy early almost no clean tables. I had biscuit and gravy. Very generous with gravy. I just prefer gravy with ground sausage they used cut up chunks. Bacon was good. Took awhile to get Check. And clean potties!

I can't begin to tell you about the excellent food and service we experienceevery time we stop to dine at Chriswell's Trail Inn in Ashton, Idaho. I chose Chriswell's Trails Inn to celebrate my Son's 40th Birthday. You can't go wrong with anything you choose from their menu. Portions are huge, and are all freshly made. I chose the chicken... Three of our us stopped for a late lunch, 2 Rainbow Trout and a chicken fried steak. It was all yummy, my wife commented on the melon from the salad bar having a real nice flavor, portions were more than enough and the food very tasty . I would recommend anyone in the area, stop in and try the food

We stopped the first night of our trip, and I had the trout. It was nicely done, and I enjoyed it. The meal included a trip to the salad bar, and dessert. I got an "everything" baked potato, which turned out to be an extra cost.

We were very impressed with this place! We stopped for breakfast and ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. First off - the portions are massive! We could've split one order and still had leftovers. Second - it was the best chicken fried steak I've ever had! I highly recommend stopping here for breakfast.

Came here for breakfast on our way to the Tetons from Yellowstone. The hash browns were very mushy. No ever came over to check on us AT ALL! We were the only ones in there. That should've told us something! My husband had to go ask for more coffee.

Thank Luanne S
