Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I recently went to visit friends in Hawaii and stayed in the city of Kailua. We wanted to meet for breakfast Sunday morning and what an incredible choice Le Crepe is! They have a pretty large menu to choose from. Since I'm not a foody...and am pretty picky, I just got the bacon, egg and cheese crepe and a brown sugar dessert crepe for everyone to share. The crepes are really filling and very tasty - much better than having bacon and scrambled eggs with cheese on their own. Loved it so much that we went again the day that I left. They had plenty for my friends 2 small children (4 and 1 1/2) to eat too. There is not a lot of seating but here are both indoor and outdoor tables. Make sure to go early on a weekend or you'll be waiting because everyone knows this place in Kailua. Thanks!More

So lucky to stumble upon this great crepe place. I love crepes and truly this place has world class crepes. My wife and I each had a different type of crepe from here for lunch today and they were awesome.

We came from Waikiki, a pleasant ride through the tunnel which had just opened that day after a rock fall had close it a year ago, 3 of us had lunch at Crepes No Kai ;Oi', a little cafe with seating outside. Very pleasant, I...had a mushroom crepe which was very satisfying. There was a little wait due to it being very busy at the time we arrived but overall the cost was very reasonable for the 3 of us. Would definitely go back again.More

I split two crepes with my friend. A hearty Santé Fe style crêpe and a berry crepe, both were delicious and the service was good. Also, got a very good iced vanilla latte. Had about a 15 minute wait because the place is so small...but well worth the wait! Wonderful service as well!More

My friends and I visited for lunch last Saturday! Easy to find and lots of free parking in the back! We all decided on a savory crepe and were not disappointed! My Popeye’s Power (melted Colby Jack cheese, fresh spinach, sautéed sweet onions, and a...choice of oven-roasted turkey or Black Forest ham) was delicious and very filling! Wonderful fresh ingredients a tasty crepe! One friend opted for a buckwheat crepe, and the other asked for extra garlic butter with her Get Mushy crepe! And even though we were pleasantly full, we decided to share a Berry Heavenly sweet crepe (melted butter, raw cane sugar, and fresh lemon juice, topped with fresh blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, and powdered sugar)! True to it’s name, it was light and wonderfully delicious!More

We were lucky enough to get outside seating. This was a great way to start the first full day of our Hawaii vacation. They have a nice variety of breakfast items and other selections also.

Went on our first and last day of vacation. Wish we could have gone everyday! The first day I ordered the smoked salmon crepe and the last day a dessert crepe with peanut butter and chocolate, a winning combination. We sat outside and enjoyed the...lovely patio. The food was delicious and the presentation was amazing too.More

I like this place and have been here several times. The flavors of everything are spot on, no bland food here. Despite bold flavors, they have subtlety down. One of my favorites is the vegetarian crepe, their herb butter is awesome on top of an...already very flavorful dish. The portions are generous and presentation is pleasant. The ingredients are generally fresh (this is an island in the middle of the Pacific afterall, and fresh is always a struggle, they do a good job here) The sheer variety of things they can do with a crepe both savory and sweet is amazing, and I can't think of anything on the menu that I'd tell you to avoid. They have both indoor and outdoor seating - indoors is kind of dark, but open. I prefer the outdoor seating though. The location is in the middle of a high traffic area frequented both by locals and tourists, so the street can be noisy, but they have done a good job of isolating the outdoor seating from it. On the right day, the shade from the sun and a nice Kailua breeze makes for a very pleasant meal. This is a good place to retreat from the bustle of downtown Kailua for lunch. Service, however is not as good as the food. I'd say that it's efficient, but not horribly inviting or friendly. If you're a take-out customer, you're going to be placed on a bench right on the sidewalk, with no shade, and told to wait. The time from order to service always seems longer to me than it should, and once served I've felt like they want you to make up for the slow prep by eating fast and getting out. I still go though, so it's not that bad. Lastly, as of the time I'm writing this, they are closed for dinner. This seems like a true waste. They are next door to Grace In Growlers, a tap room that invites you to bring in your own food and it just really seems natural that there'd be some arrangement here to benefit both. But it feels like there is some animosity - Crepes No Ka ʻOi used to seat the take out customers in what is now Grace in Growlers patio space, but now there is a crudely thrown up fence between their spaces - a No Ka Oi crepe would be awesome with a good brew.More

We tried this place for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of both sweet and savory crepes. We had the Island Cubano (pulled port, Black Forest ham) and Tiki Torch (chicken breast, mac nut pesto, spinach, and sauteed onions) - both...of which were very good savory crepes. Definitely will return when we visit again.More
