Food is pretty terrible. Bar is pretty good and good atmosphere. Caters to old drunk Americans I guess maybe affiliated with the Macaw Mountain bird park. Not recommended for meals, maybe just a drink.

Throughout our two-night stay in Copan Ruinas, we enjoyed two evening meals and a lunch at ViaVia Cafe. The staff were excellent, engaging with our young son and assisting us with an impromptu tourist activity booking. The food and drinks were of a good standard...and the service excellent. We enjoyed sitting out on the front deck on each occasion. The bar/restaurant seemed busy on each visit. The NGO's association with Macaw Mountain means that if you buy your tickets at ViaVia they include transport one-way.More
ATMOSPHERE: Nice place, beautiful view but the music was a little too loud. FOOD: Chicken has good flavor but was a little dry and tough. The beets and beans were very good. Plantas were bland. SERVICE: The staff was very friendly and sweet.
We ended up going here every morning for breakfast because everyone liked the food. Often we were the only family in the place because we ate early. Easy to get to and good food.
We went here two nights in a row and had a great time sitting at the bar and talking with the bartender! We also made friends with Felix the cat. :) Didn't eat food, but it smelled delicious!
Great food made with fresh, high quality ingredients. Lots of options from typical entrees to burgers with Gouda, steak sandwiches and more.
The 2 good points : Service with a smile and beautiful presentation of the food. The bad points: I've never seen so many flies in a restaurant. DISGUSTING! The restaurant had no fans or A/C. I asked for a fly swatter, they didn't have that...either. Though the food was beautifully presented (I ordered "El Completo") it was quite bland.More
No haute cuisine but fine and tasty cuban special for a small price. The owner is a former travel journalist coming from Belgium as other people already mentioned. It is a little weird to be able to talk my home language to another person other...then my fellow group members in a out of the way place as Copan. The next morning we ate a delicious breakfast here as well with french toast and pancakes with powdery sugar.More
My wife and I ate twice in this restaurant and found the food of acceptable quality in a town where it is not easy to find good places to eat. A large con is that they have very loud music so we preferred to eat...in the terrace, where the noise is less. It is located very close to the main square of Copan Ruinas and offers some honduran dishes as well as some "international food".More
Via Via is lively, especially for Copan Ruinas. It was busy, inside and out. Seems it turns into a nightclub later at night, too. Service was quick and cheerful, separate bills were allowed (nice touch). Food all round our group looked fantastic. Big serves, reasonably...priced and Tipico options (traditional typical food of the region) were available. Large menu too. Beers were cold and the juices looked amazing too. Would I go back... I did ! Great choice in Copan if you are looking for good food and a little bit of life....More
