Before I get into things, yes the coffee here is fantastic and Mike makes it any way you like it. But you stay for much more than just the coffee. Going to Crossroads Cafe is an experience in itself and in my opinion the best experience you can have in Panajachel. Mike is one of the most passionate, friendly and... More

Mike, the owner, keeps this place lively and fun while maintaining a high standard of coffee beverages. Mike hand selects his beans from the regions coffee plantations and roasts them in house, selling the beans by the pound. Take some home with you-I'm sure he'll send more when you run out. He is a really friendly, genuinely nice person.

I came in here to treat myself after having a difficult day. As soon as I entered I was greeted by a huge friendly smile that instantly lifted my spirits. Michael is just full of warmth and good energy. The cheesecake is the best on the lake hands-down! I left feeling full of joy and delicious cheesecake of course! Thank-you... More

I finally had the opportunity to visit this place. The quality of coffee from the region as well as Huehuetenango was fabulous plus the homemade desserts. What really makes the place special is the spirit that Mike puts into it. It's a great, friendly environment where people get together for conversation over the best cup of coffee in the country.... I could not have liked crossroads coffee more! The carrot cake was the best I have ever tasted and I include my own in that ranking (and I think mine is pretty good!) It was so good I took another slice home to have for my breakfast the following day and it was still delicious and moist 24 hours later,... More

We came in to Crossroads on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. The coffee was beyond comparison, best that we had had on our entire trip (we bought a lot of it to bring home with us too!), and Mike is something else. We walked away saying "wow, what an amazing dude!". He is so kind and uplifting, and... More

We were finding it nearly impossible to find a good cup of coffee in Pana until we stopped into Crossroads. Tucked a little off the main tourist area I had forgotten it was there. Mike the owner was nice enough to let us in even before they had officially opened and served up 4 cups of the best coffee I've... More

Thank you ! Was compelled to make us some coffee; as you guys showing up when and how you did ( like weary/smiling mountain bikers !) reminded me of early cafe openings in Mill Valley Ca. where i started in the Mt. Tam foothills ! Happy trails! michael More

As a coffee lover: this is probably one of the top espresso's we've had. We have tried several servings of the Espresso blend, for the coffee and "for a good story". The blueberries pie was a great addition to it all. Mike seems to be an unbreakable optimist, after overcoming huge past hurdles. Way to go! קפה נדיר באיכותו, מתערובות... More

Mike has more one liners and coffee quips than any human being on the planet. A friendly and amazing coffee stop. It's a must if your in Panajachel. There just isn't anything else like it. The Tiramisu even if it's not on the menu is fantastic. If your thirsty for the best coffee Guatemala has to offer, this IS the... More

This is one of the most popular coffee shops in Panajachel especially with the ex-pat population. Run by Michael, he finds, buys, roasts, grinds, and serves the best beans in Guatemala! And then washes the dishes and loves every minute of it. We hope to meet you soon over a cup of coffee and hear your story!
