I have to say that we go regularly to Kloster Cayala and I really enjoy the dinner and the environment. You can choose between different fondue , salat or normal meat. At the end it's tasty but expensive compared with other restaurants. Nevertheless, I give 5 stars because the food is good but the service is excellent. Sometimes it's just... More

I am a frequent Kloster client, you cannot eat a better fondue in the city. The Caesar salad is the real deal, with coddled egg and anchovies ... They have a variety of cheese fondues but throughout the years I have seen that you do not mess with the classics: caesar salad to start, "kloster" cheese fondue and beef fondue,... More

I've been regularly eating at Kloster for over 30 years now. It is NOT a light meal, but within its genre it's a shining beacon in the night. This is centrally a fondue place: cheese fondue, oil or broth meat fondue, chocolate fondue, you get the point... lots and lots of fondue, in several varieties that'll have you coming back... More

Known for its fondues and beer by length (foot, 1/2 yard, 1 yard), this is a nice place with different options for couples, families, friends, or business dining. Good value for money...

A German style restaurant with no European beer options. Pros: Food Cons: Beverage options surprisingly limited.

My friends and I had dinner at Kloster in the paseo. It was so cute. Like a little Switzerland in Guatemala. We all ordered talk lagers that were server in talk wooden holders. Charming! We ordered two kinds of fondue. One meat for dipping and the other with bread. I think one was the deluxe option. I especially liked the... More

This is the second time I have visited Kloster, and once again really enjoyed it. We had steak and bread to dip into our delicious melted cheese, you put the steak into the oil first and cook it to your liking, and then smoother it in cheese. It is a very rich meal, and if I return again I would... More

One of my favourite restaurants down here. I've had fondue here 4 times and it's always awesome. The mushroom and wine one is my favourite. Its a nice place with decor that is slightly reminiscent of Germany. It's a nice place to go on a date, but I've also seen families here and I've been with friends. The servers are... More
