And probably great for lunch as well, but I only get the chance to eat breakfast there. It is my first choice in Americus, even though there are lots of options. Great food, quick service and incredibly inexpensive. Unfortunately closed on Sundays though.

I really enjoyed tHis restaurant it has a family style home feeling to it. The food was tasty, I really enjoyed the peach cobbler. They are friendly and down to earth. I will definitely try again and suggest if you are in the area and want country eating go there

Great bacon, good eggs, hashbrowns were burned, toast was basic white bread, coffee was weak. Waitress was very pleasant. Hostess - who was probably "Granny" - was completely oblivious to our entering the restaurant and wanting to be seated. A customer had to get her attention. Nothing special but not bad. Waffle House with better bacon.

Lovely and homey place, homemade cooking at its best. Went for breakfast, spotless clean!, very friendly and down to earth staff!. Utensils and dinnerware like the one you use at home, ( no plastics!), very tasty , well made! Highly recommended!

Stopped at Granny's Kitchen for breakfast and were so glad we did! Had Bacon & Egg Sandwich on Toast with an order of onion rings - homemade onion rings to be exact! They were so good! Sandwich was the standard one you cook at home, but it was exactly what I wanted! Hubby had 2 eggs (over easy) with bacon,... More

Traveling through town on a long distance bicycle ride, we stopped at Granny's for a break. What a surprise!! Being attached to a gas station is deceiving... don't be fooled! Best Banana Pudding (all made from scratch, including the custard!) in the whole world! The staff are just what you would expect form a small southern town - charming, friendly,... More

Wonderful, southern cooking. The people were really nice and friendly. Reasonable prices for food, and it was wonderful cooking. I know I'll be coming back to join Granny again for another meal!!

Every little town in the south has a meat and three vegetables restaurant. Each and every one is special in their own way. Granny has great Southern Fried Chicken. The rice and gravy was a surprise. The gravy is filled with beef from the stew. Someone paint a very nice mural on the wall.
