San Ignacio is always a good place to get Belizean barbecue. A local person recommended this restaurant to me so I took his word. the food was ok, but not as great as I had remembered it from previous visits. I also purchased 'milk cake' and it was a little dry. The employees were very nice and accommodating. It's a... More

Having tested three spots in the area, we've decided that nothing can match state-side BBQ. What you get is a quarter of a chicken, no pulled pork or chicken, and no brisket. Chicken here is over-grilled and chewy. Order dark meat rather than white. The price is reasonable at $5 Belizean but there's not much meat on the chicken either.... More

First off you can't beat the price here nice portions and easy on the wallet. It's just a small walk across the bridge from downtown maybe 5 min from Burns Street. Everyone raves about the chicken which I found ok but nothing to write home about. On the other hand the pig tail was finger licking good. I know I... More

Caught this place on the way out of town. The smell of smoke from the grill lured us in. Options were few but overall it was pretty decent and unexpected. They have a ton of home made cakes and pies that were also good. Service was a tad slow, but it was the lunch rush in all fairness. The place... More

Barbecues from here is some of the best in the area and comes hot off the grill with several meats to choose from. Their cheesecakes and flans make the perfect sweet treat to match the savory barbecue.

The pork is great here too... Everyone talks about the chicken but the pork is equally as good... It is not to be missed... I have been here at least four times when coming through San Ignacio on business and I always make this my lunch stop.
