I have stayed in a hostel La Cubana which is the first place you see coming from the boat, just at front of the pier. Sleeping boxes are super claustrophobic, the size of a wardrobe, and there s no fresh air. Beds were comfy but i woke up with my bed FULL of bugs:/ Bathrooms are nasty, dirty and full... More

Had dinner here after all the signs saying whole fish for 10usd and wonderful roasted pig. After asking the guy in front about whole fish, he said oh we didnt have any but wait we just got three fish. After very long wait (an hr) i got my fish which is smaller than my hand and obviously not cooked here... More

The restaurant has good deals for a meal + 3 rum mix drinks. Depending on what you order its worth it! The ppl that ordered fish were v happy. The fried fish had a nice seasoning on it. The pork roast was quite dry. I ordered veggie curry and was given a veggie soup...which was nice enough but they claimed... More

The grilling of lobster out front finally got us in the door on our last night. Have walked past this place on several trips....should have kept walking. All 3 in my party had the lobster and all 3 were sick for hours after eating there.

First time was good although took ages to have out dishes, we liked it so we came back, but this time they brought wrong drinks, they said at the entrance the had the whole fish but they didn't, so we order something else and waited more than 1hour to get it, the waitress/2do on charge was the only one taking... We got up and left after being seated and waiting 15 minutes without so much as a beverage being offered. The lure of their delicious smelling food gets you in the door, but don't waste your time. Ended up at the Sports Bar next door. Huge menu, great service.

Service was terrible there tonight, we were two tables, we waited forever for the food, I had the BBQ chicken that had no taste of barbecue, just some kind of ketchup and nothing homemade, with hardly more than a tablespoon of beans, the coconut rice was actually the best part....my husband didnt even get what he ordered! One waiter, two... More

Service here is very slow. You have to pretty much ask for everything. A menu, refills, your bill.... I ordered a BBQ chicken quarter which I figured would be grilled as there was a big grill being used. Instead, I received a very scrawny wing and breast that had been dragged from a refrigerator and slathered with BBQ sauce. The... More

Good plan to make a stop for dinner here. Seating on the beach and lobster cooked on the barbie so you can see it. The local cuisine was impressive. They offered 3 free drinks with your meal as well. Prices were a little higher than some places, but food quality was good. Fun place and listened to the surf during... More
