Had the buffet here and it was awesome. So much protein and all so delicious. We had chicken, fish, lamb and pork plus rice, potatoes and grilled zucchini (but who needs that when there is so much great grilled meat!). One of our group had...More

It was my first day in Caye Caulker and I was starving. Although I had to white a little while for them to finish cooking the food, it was worth the wait! The food was outstanding.

When we sat we we greeted with a "roach" that the prior dinners left behind. The couple we were with were from Colorado and were use to it. It added to the local flavor. Willy and his partner Belle were gracious hosts and servers. Six...More

Wish Willy is a legendary spot on Caye Caulker but this was my first visit. It's Willy, his grill, and some picnic tables so it definitely has a 'no frills' feel to it but the food is absolutely mouth watering. Our group had grilled chicken,...More

Relaxed atmosphere. Grab a table and one of the staff will wander over and tell you what's on offer that night. Normally a selection of fish or meat with rice and BBQ'd veg. We got one pork chops and one shrimps to share. Flavour of...More

We'd heard so many great things about this place... What a disappointment when we saw the poorly decorated garden in which we had dinner. The table was very uncomfortable. The service was reggae style, quite pleasant, but very slow... Food was tasty but we had...More

Off the beaten path, but sooooo worth it! Our server was great, the food was wonderful, the ambiance was magical. Forgot to take photos because we were enjoying ourselves so much.

Great hosts, great food. We had forgotten our cash and they let us eat/drink and come back later to pay! Nice trust!

This place is hilarious. You seat yourself. You can either bring your own booze or grab endless Belikin Beers out of their cooler. There is no menu. You get a choice of beef, chicken, pork, fish and shrimp. The food is great, the atmosphere better...More

Hi Cameron and others, this "Backyard" eatery sounds like just the sort of roadside home/restaurant that I would frequent in the Costa Rican countryside back in the 80's. I love to eat where the locals eat and enjoy the low prices. Can you tell me how much the meals cost? Planning a budget trip to Belize and want to book our cottage in an area where local inexpensive eateries are plentiful and accessible. Thanks!
