We visited Mesa Bistro twice while we were in San Pedro and cannot say enough good things! Keisha felt like family and her Coconut French Toast was legit the most divine thing I have ever tasted! Hubs had the breakfast burrito both days and the Iced Mocha and it was legit amazing! This is worth stopping and saying hello!!

My girlfriend and I we're on vacation in Ambergris Caye and we're looking for a place to eat breakfast one morning and we found this place down the road from our Airbnb on the north side of San Pedro. Very easy to find. FYI it's right in front of the 303 bar. Nice little place covered with open siding gorgeous view. I wound up having the fry jacks, which I had never heard of before, and had them with lobster. Man those things were absolutely delicious. My girlfriend had to Belezian breakfast and hers was delicious as well. We had mango mimosas also which were very good. I had a hard time deciding on breakfast because I was laying coconut French toast so we decided to come back the next day. The next day I got the coconut French toast and my girlfriend got the breakfast tacos with lobster....and yes more mimosas. Breakfast was phenomenal. I would go back to Ambergris just for the fry jacks at this place LOL. I wish we were going back for lunch but we never got the chance. I would highly recommend this place. Great food great atmosphere great service I'm not overpriced... you can't ask for much more. Thanks again for everything and hopefully we'll be back sooner than later.!!

Cannot say enough good things about The Mesa Bistro! The owner, Mary Ford was so warm and welcoming. And the food was fabulous! Highly recommend the coconut French Toast and ANYTHING with their homemade chorizo! We even got to meet Darren the chef. All the food is made from Fresh local ingredients and they are super accommodating! Several locals came in to eat while we were there and we visited with them as well. My only regret is that we did not go back to Mesa to try their lunch offerings while we were there. Also Mesa does a wonderful dessert twist on the Fry Jack which is traditional Belizian fried dough, not usually served as a sweet. DO NOT MISS MESA!

We ate at Mesa Bistro several times during our trip to San Pedro. We were welcomed on our first visit and felt like regulars by our last visit. The food was excellent! My wife was able to order gluten free from the regular menu with no adverse impacts. Do yourself a favor and order the chocolate sweet cream cold brew for a drink and the house made chorizo with breakfast. We enjoyed hanging out and playing with the owner's dog.

Straight forward fare, well prepared, and menu changes (so don't go by the photos of menus). We started with some fresh desserts while we waited for our orders (late lunch and we were starving). All three of us got something different and all were really good. Small place and we got the last table. We were the last of the crowd to clear out so we were able to talk to the owner for a bit. Interesting young woman from the states. Wanted to own a cafe and Belize offered a lower cost of entry. Simple decision process. Don't pass it up for a good tasting and priced lunch.

This little place is a neighborhood gem, a little out of town but worth the golf cart ride. Located on the beach, this small owned business serves up excellent food with excellent service. My friend and I came here for breakfast. We sat outside looking at the ocean, enjoying the relaxed morning with bottomless Mimosa. We ordered the Shrimp Tacos and the Breakfast Tacos. The tacos were delicious! Atmosphere: Beach front relaxing vibe. Service: excellent. Food: excellent

Stopped in for a breakfast meeting with my local business contact and was pleasantly surprised at the food and the service. The bean cakes were fantastic and the eggs were poached perfectly! Service was amazing. The new owner is very sweet and attentive. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quaint little breakfast spot while you are visiting.

We had a delightful breakfast. Owner was very knowledgeable about glutenfree dining. The homemade chorizo is some of the best I’ve ever eaten. I am a coffee snob… and never drink drip coffee. I’m so glad I did..,, Mesa’s coffee is brewed to perfection! Ask for a side of coconut cream (unsweetened fatty perfection) for your coffee. I am a sensitive celiac and has no issues at all.

Looking for a great breakfast place? Look no more than Mesa located about 40 feet north from San Pedro’s Chocolate Factory. It’s being run by Kevin & Mandy which have come all the way from Houston to delight us with some very tasty and fresh egg options. I know I have mention that breakfast is quite hard to get wrong but after arriving at San Perdro early Monday morning and having our first breakfast at Ramon’s Village Resort how wrong I was, it was tasteless, coffee was bitter and portions had to be looked for with a magnifying glass. How joyous we were to find a true eating place that care about their customers and cook to satisfy their hunger. Kevin and Mandy should be paid by San Pedro’s Tourism Bureau because they promote the island’s many actives and will answer any question you have regarding San Pedro and will even make suggestions on activities you might not want to miss while at the island. Go for the food but if you have a question or two on island activities they are the ones to seek for advice.

Our food was awesome! Two in our group were vegetarians and our vegetarian dishes were fresh and tasty. The meals were all very flavorful. Mary the owner is really friendly and gave us good tips on other places to visit. The place is tiny but I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

I’ve been on San Pedro for 3 days and that hands down is the best breakfast I’ve had since I arrived here. Plus bottomless mimosas! I’ve eaten at lots of fancy restaurants while here and while they were good, this beat it! We had coconut French toast, bean cake eggs Benedict, and Belizean breakfast.

We ran into Mandy and Kevin because we were looking at homes and we shown the house they were staying at. They invited us to Mesa cafe where they managed and we are so glad we went. The food was amazing but the service was unforgettable. Mandy and Kevin went above and beyond on every accord. They helped make our trip amazing!!! I would recommend heading to the cafe, grabbing a cold brew coffee and their coconut french toast and staying to chat with two of the nicest people we met on the trip!

We stopped in to find out if they had Johnny Cakes that my husband had been searching for, for over a week. They had them but then we decided to get the Coconut French Toast and he ended up with a omelette . Both entrees were delicious with a side of fresh fruit! Great service and delicious food!! We will be back for the Johnny Cakes!!
