Went between lunch and dinner. Quiet and service was great. A little wait for food , but then you know it wasn't sitting around.

Best quesadilla on the island. So many different pupusas, we went twice to try more. Mix (pork and bean) are our group's favorites. Stewed chicken was great the first night, it so-so the second visit. Great family casual atmosphere and fast service. Perfect stop for a tired family after a full day of sun. Advice to the staff... don't run... More

After the great reviews, Waruguma was the first stop on our trip to Belize. Sorry to say we were very disappointed. I ordered the lobster tacos which were good, but very overpriced! My boyfriend order the oh so famous lobster burrito, and was highly upset at the outcome. When it was brought out the portions looked very generous, but my... More

This restaurant came highly recommended by local folks and they were right - Very good! We especially recommend the ceviche (we added shrimp and there was a Lot of it!).

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, however, since they have moved to back street they seem to have forgotten why they became so popular. The have good food, but their service staff would prefer to leave work early than serve clients. Don't show up 10 minutes before the close or they'll tell you it's too late for... More

My family of four came here for dinner March 14. We had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated because they were pretty busy. We ordered seafood, pork and mix pupusas for our appetizer. We had never had them before so we wanted to try them. They were okay. For dinner, my husband ordered the seafood platter, I ordered... More

Heard about this place from our fishing guide. Very casual. Had good papusas. Portions were large and well priced.

When you walk up to Waraguma you see a woman making papusas on a flat top so you know by the freshness and the aroma they are going to be great! Waraguma is a little rustic with sand floors and no A/C but the food is worth it! My husband and I ordered 3 combinations of papusas that were made... More

This restarant use to be our favourite but this year the cook must be different than before as the food wasn't nearly as good. We were so looking forward to lobster and each of our meals that had lobster, it was overdone, this was a huge disappointment. Therefore we didn't go back.

We had the bean and cheese pupusas and they were to die for - handmade out front for the Saturday night street food crowd, cooked on the outside griddle, served piping hot with a side of sauce. Wow... We were warned the burritos were huge, so we split one and it came as advertised - the size of a small... More
