This place was a true Southern local eatery! The tornado of. 2013 however, took it away and it is no longer.

We really miss Ownes. Kids and I would have biscuits there at least once a week. To bad the tornado of 2013 removed all but the foundations. The date below is the oldest it would allow.
This place was hit by the tornado hopefully they will rebuild online said lots of volunteers were helping cause Owens had no insurance sure hope they can reopen good local place
What can I say. They are perfect. So here is what you do. Wake up early. Drive up the gravel driveway to the restaurant that looks more like a cabin than a biscuit joint. If it is busy, and it might be around 7am, the...More
Driven by here 1000 times- had NO IDEA what I was missing. In the south we have a term for a REALLY big biscuit! We call em' CAT HEADS, meaning they're about that big. Owen's are more like tiger heads. HUGE, fluffier n' a cloud...More
I came from out of town. This is a modest establishment and looks ordinary from the outside, but is rather nice on the inside. Open six days a week, all the locals recommend an Owen's biscuit for lunch or a snack. I had the balogne...More
This place has average biscuits, but when you throw on a piece of tenderloin it makes the biscuit much better. This is a drive thru. Worth visiting.
Big biscuits! Great flavor! Competitively priced. This is a staple for me when I pass through to the interstate to play golf. I must get a biscuit from Owen's!
If you are hungry, I'd suggest the Hack. Best Tenderloin biscuit I ever. Family owned, not a chain, genuinely appreciate your business. Drive thru or sit down options.
