If not for our fantastic waitress I would rate the place a 1 Star. The food was subpar; hush puppies were over done, and tasted burnt, the grilled shrimp was dry from over cooking, the fried shrimp was a bit soggy (how does that even...More

I did my due diligence and checked trip advisor before going. I knew not to expect much from an appearance standpoint based on reviews. We really were excited and wanted to have a great seafood meal. What I have to say it this place is...More
Nostalgic restaurant. The shrimp you could tell was fresh but the Firecracker coating wasn’t that great. Should have just ordered regular fried shrimp. The onion straws are good and enough for 2-3 people. Ask to be cooked crispy as you get the top layer eaten...More
My wife and I ordered the mariners combo for two including fried oysters, clams, shrimp, deviled crab, scallops, cobia, hush puppies, coleslaw and french fries. Wow! I did not think that we would have enough, but was I wrong. We had enough left over to...More
Wow, what a place !! The best fresh seafood I've had in along time. Located by the St. John's river, next to the ferry, this is a very cozy restaurant, resembling an old fisherma's wood hut. The food is daily fresh, and everything on the...More

I love this place! It's the best. The oysters (always gulf) are clean and sweet. They have the best fried shrimp around. Stiff drinks and perfect down-home service. It's right on the water so you can watch the ferry and container ships coming and going....More
Stopped here for a quick bite and wasn't disappointed. Lots of parking, great views and friendly service. This is located right by the St. John's Ferry on the Atlantic Beach side. Our local friend frequents this place and recommended the blackened trigger fish sandwich -...More
An unbelievably popular place. We went at 5:00 p.m. for sunset and it was packed well before we left. The food was great, well prepared and plentiful and we enjoyed our experience greatly--well worth the drive up from Jacksonville Beach.
It’s been a long time since I was in New Smyrna Beach. I’ve always had a great memory of my visit here. The food was just as delicious as I remembered! The rock shrimp cake is superb!
