Had dinner at Boss Oyster with a friend. Food was pretty good, service mediocre at best and the guy at the next table (very close) was on his phone for much of the time. Not much fun but I do know what kind of house he is looking for and his budget. View of the water was very nice.

I had heard that the Apalach oyster fishery is suffering and the oysters at Boss Oyster reflected that. It has been about 5 years since I was there and in the past Boss Oyster oysters were the best. Had better at Owl Cafe the night before.

Austinowl, The Apalachicola oyster fishery is alive and well. The entire bay was never in jeopardy, in fact, only a small portion was affected. At sunrise our three oyster boats leave our docks with iced down hulls to gather the world's best oyster. We ice your oyster from "bay to belly". With the cool waters of the winter enviroment the Apalachicola... More

We went to boss oyster for dinner. The food was very good! We had fried soft shell crab and it was great. It was a little pricey but very good and an awsome view!

We sat outside with beautiful weather on Saturday. Ordered a dozen raw oysters to start that were good. Fresh & briny, local Apalachicola oysters are alive & well. Despite the tri state war over the Apalachicola River & which state has the rights to its water. We had a great server who was knowledgeable & got us quick service on... More

This area is famous for oysters and Boss Oyster does not disappoint. The raw oysters were out of this world. The fried seafood was also delicious. Service was attentive. A definite must!

Had dinner here while dripping wet from horrific storm not long before closing & still greated warmly. Oysters were great but sides were average.

Food was great, but service was a bit slow. Highly recommend the "Capt. Jack Oysters". If in Apalach, you must go here.

This place totally lives up to its reputation. Oysters were salty, oyster poboy was full of Oysters and my Grouper sandwich was cooked to perfection. You can't beat the service or the view.

Great views. Pet friendly. Friendly staff. Good service. No beer on tap but reasonable selection of bottled beer/wine. Indoor/outdoor seating. Raw oysters were great. Fried grouper excellent. Red fish blackened or grilled excellent. We have dined here two times in a week for late lunch and pleased to return again. Family dining might work but is more suitable for adults/teens... More
