Pizza was great, went back again & had a pasta dish & was not disappointed. Conveniently located to work site, worth the time visit & dine.

Have tried to find a comparable calzone but can't. Try the Big Mama! Atmosphere is somewhat outdated, service is usually fine, but the food more than compensates for any shortcomings.

I've been coming to this place since the late 80's and it never disappoints! I almost always get the Calzone and it is delicious but their pizza is VERY good as well. It is in a seedy area of Aurora but I've never had any problems during the day. The waitresses are always friendly and efficient. Prices are very reasonable.... More

My family and I arrived hungry and tired from a long day at the Rockies game. Our server came to our table quickly and got 2 orders of garlic cheese bread and house salad started for us...they arrived in practically no time. The salad was fine, nothing special. The garlic cheese bread was awesome. I think the homemade red sauce... More

Mama Alvino's was good, but there was nothing special about it. Everyone in the group agreed it was more focused on large quantities of food over something unique or particularly good tasting.

I've used to love their pizza. I ordered a deluxe combo and mama plate pasta. First the pizza, crust was hard, sauce no flavor, said on the menu 5lb, but 2lb at most. I had better pizza frozen. The pasta, never had spaghetti made with thick noodles before really bad. Meatball tastes like raw beef, sauce from a can, cheap kind. Garlic... More

We were looking for somewhere quick and convenient near the airport and stumbled across this place. Unpromising as appearances go, but a super-friendly waitress won us over and the pizzas were good. The kids cleaned their plates. I would return here.

This mom and pop restaurant served up the best calzone I've ever had. We don't have anything close like this place at home. The calzone, and I had a small, was so large and full of tasty ingredients, I wasn't hungry at dinner time. I will definitely be back.

The calzone's here are absolutely delicious. They make a few different varieties and two different sizes. they are very generous with the ingredients and extra sauce. Very casual or informal pizza and calzone restaurant.

We had ribs, pasta and wings delivered to our Hotel. The Ribs were all fat. The pasta was tasteless and the wings were terrible! For the price we were expecting great food! But they are way too expensive for the crappy food we got! I would definitely not order from this place ever again!
