We stopped at Rosie's Diner for a late breakfast. The food was very good and the service was fairly quick because it was an off-peak time. Clean restaurant and the decor is 50's for sure.
Fun 50s diner atmosphere. Had pot roast with mashed potatoes. The pot roast was on the tough side and may have been over cooked. The mashed potatoes weren't as good as I hoped either and lacked the creaminess I was looking for. However the gravy was quite tasty.
I've eaten here twice and I've been disappointed twice. I've ordered the gyro and Mexican poached eggs. The gyro meat is basically one very thinly sliced piece of lunch meet. The yolks on the poached eggs were severely over cooked and chalky.
Diner located in an aluminum tube type of building located behind Appleby's north of Iliff close to I-225. Decorated inside with hot pink and blue colors. Each table has juke box music selections from the 50's and 60's. Servers are young and enthusiastic. Food is basic, simple. Exception is special St. Patrick's Day menu of corned beef, cabbage, and cooked... More
Busy place but the service is still good. Food was plentiful and good tasting. Overall, I'm looking forward to eating here again.
A real fun place for lunch, good music, great service and food good. They have great burgers and good fries. Always good parking hardly any wait even when busy.
My eggs were good, but my companion's bacon was soggy and when she sent it back to cook longer, they must have burned it in the microwave. Also found a hair in the milkshake. We had friends who dined here who thought it was great. So it's hit or miss
