Very tasty grilked fish sandwich. My husband enjoyed his fish and chips too - 3 large pieces, no heavy breading, not greasy, just tasty. Casual, local place.

Walking through town we happened upon the Lobster Trap, from the outside it looks like a ok place but after going in we loved it. Ice cold beer and smoked salmon and oysters on a half shell, delicious. We ended up going back again even though our stay was short. Great place.

Bartender was legit and down to earth. A real person who acts how i think people should act as tenders/servers in bars like this regardless of what you are there for... seriously tho... you are welcome for the shot of yager, Brandon! Lol

After a day of diving my buddy was craving some steak. We didn't want to spend $50 a plate so we asked the front desk if he could recommend a place. We went for the Flat Iron and it was tasty :-) with a big side of veggies and a baked potato well worth the $18.

My only complaint is that strands of hair kept falling onto our table. At first I thought the waitress brought out our food and drinks with hair strands already in it but then I noticed the hair was continually falling onto our table. We sat on a pub table on the 1st floor and this lady who sat on the... More

There is no pretense about the Lobster Trap - what you see is what you get: how refreshing!. We stopped here for a late lunch. For entrees we had REAL crab cakes and delicious coconut shrimp and followed this with two very fresh lobster rolls. With a glass of Californian Chardy and a pint of Bud Light followed by a... More

One dinner of bacon wrapped scallops and one of seared blue fin tuna. Scallops would have been much better sauteed without bacon. As prepared they had the texture of pork. Tuna not as good as past dinners of Ahi. Baked potatoes were slightly under done. Veggie sides were good. Service was very good. Atmosphere funky. Seating way too close.

If you are looking for casual atmosphere and great food, I highly recommend the Lobster Trap. We came here for lunch and had the clam chowder and lobster tacos. A cup of really good clam chowder for $6, beer for $5, lobster tacos $8, and a glass of white wine for $7. The Lobster taco was sooooooo good and fresh.... More

We ate here our first night and was soooooo disappointed. I ordered the shrimp dinner. The shrimp was very breaded and not seasoned at all nor did it taste like fresh shrimp. The shrimp taste as those it was frozen from a box. I only had 5 shrimp and didn't bother to eat it all. Just ate the fries. My... More
