Drop in on a Tuesday and get really good street tacos for $2 and even better chicken or pork enchiladas for $3. It's crowded but worth it

Having seen their billboard on the freeway, and the fact that I love craft breweries, we stopped in for dinner on our way to Reno. Even though it was a Wednesday night, it was PACKED! As the host was walking us to our table on...More

The Auburn Alehouse burger was one of the best burgers ever. All four us order the burger and thought the same thing Delish! We enjoyed our burgers with one of their fine crafted beer's but any drink will do. Can't wait to go back and...More

OK - this place is a little on the "noisy" side - but food is excellent - worth the wait if you're there around dinner time on a weekend. Especially good Ruben sandwiches - and pretty good ale as well.

Had lunch on a weekday. Fast and friendly service, meals were tasty and reasonably priced. Loved my pulled pork sandwich. Sad to say that we didn't try any of the beer, which we've heard is great. It will be on our list of dining destinations...More

Brian & Lisa Ford opened Auburn Alehouse Brewery & Restaurant in 2007 in the iconic Shanghai Restaurant, embracing the building's character and colorful history in the heart of Historic Auburn. While enjoying their full bistro menu, patrons can often see Brian & his brewers making world-class beer in small batches, using only the finest malted barley and American-grown hops. With a collection of prestigious awards hanging on the wall it's easy to see why the SacBee recently said Auburn Alehouse is one of the region's premier craft breweries. Favorites include the Gold Digger IPA (CA State Fair Gold Medal Winner), Gold Country Pilsner (GABF Gold Medal Winner), Hop Donkey (GABF Silver Medal Winner) and PU240 IPA! Lunch and Dinner are served every day, while our Brunch menu is served on Saturday and Sunday from 9am-noon. Don't forget we have a dog friendly patio!
