This restaurant had a down home feel and the service was the same. It was friendly, informative and not bothersome. One diner ordered a la carte and got an egg ($1.95) and home fries ($2.95) the other diner ordered the veggie omelet which came with a lot of fresh veggies inside and potatoes ($10.95). The "must have" on the menu... More

This is a great place for a great breakfast, small town cafe with good food and service. This is not a large place so you may have a bit of a wait.

Nice small restaurant, good food, friendly staff. Service can be a little slow, restaurant is crowded. Enjoy their breakfasts mostly. Parking can be a challenge, located on busy street.

Nice portions, friendly staff, sort of a down home place. I love the French toast. It is made with thick slices of cinnamon bread. Coffee is just average in taste.

Don't know how we missed this one, but 'discovered' village cafe while searching Trip Advisor for something new to try for breakfast. Service great, coffee great, and our breakfast cooked to order. We came on a weekday and it wasn't too busy. Could see how it might get a bit overcrowded on weekends. Will definitely be back!

Always crowded on weekends and big portions. Nice wait staff and yummy hash browns. Try the muffins! Haven't tried lunch there yet - they close at 2 pm. This place has been a foundation of the Village of Arroyo Grande for decades

Oh, yes. Please eat here. Wonderful food and great attentive service. Any of the egg dishes are good, especially the Arroyo Grande Omelet, with home fried potatoes and a biscuit and gravy. Great place in the Village.

We ate breakfast here on our way home from Pismo Beach. It was a weekend day, and all we kept hearing from the hostess was "sorry we know there's a lot of people here we just don't have enough staff". The wait was superlong, and once we finally got seated took forever for someone to come by and take our... More

The staff was VERY FRIENDLY, the food was good and reasonably priced. Unfortunately they only serve breakfast and lunch.

Excellent local cafe with great breakfasts, burgers and sandwiches. Very popular with locals. Easy location in the historic Arroyo Grande Village with easy street parking.
