Santa Anita racetrack is world famous and still has its own unique allure! Go early get free coffee=watch the warm ups, meet jockeys, owners and others! Breakfast burrito for about $8 was large enough to share and really tasty! Great spot to spend an early morning or start your day at Santa Anita!

If you go for morning workouts, you're in for a treat. Good food, free coffee, rubbing elbows with racing's elite, and the sight of thoroughbreds exercising in the early morning light in front of the San Gabriel Mountains is like looking at living art. Access can be tricky for first-timers...enter the track grounds off Baldwin at Gate 8, and follow... More

Even seasoned track goers miss this free experience. Sit with handicapper, horse people, the rich and famous. Watch some of the best horses, maybe the next Kantucky Derby, or Breederscup winner work out right infront of you. There is no crowd. And if you want have a cup of coffee and your breakfast as the sun warms you as it... More

Fun place to take out of town visitors to watch the beautiful horses work out and to bask in the glory of the San Gabriel Mountains. If you're lucky you may into a famous trainer or jockey.

Not only does this place serve the early morning breakfast as is in the majority of reviews, once it closes about 10am ish - they then rent the area out for parties. I did this with 67 guests and it was great. I had access starting at 11am, guests arrived at 11:30am. They set up a buffet for you (I... More

Hubs and I enjoyed an early morning Fathers Day breakfast at Clockers Corner watching the horses train. The food, which is very reasonably priced, was delicious as was the coffee, and you can't beat the beautiful setting. Everyone we came in contact with, from the parking lot guy to the lady behind the food counter to the jockey's agent we... More

This area of Santa Anita Racetrack is where you can have breakfast, overlooking the track and watch the morning workouts. No charge for close in parking, modest prices for food, not great coffee.

I bring all out-of-town visitors to Clockers' for a unique SoCal experience, if I can get them up early enough! Located on the western corner of Santa Anita Park race track, Clockers' is open from 4:30 am to 10 am, literally every day. It's nothing fancy, but it is authentic: this is where the racehorse owners and trainers hang out... More

How many places are there where you can enjoy a tasty breakfast while watching race horses work out just a few yards in front of you? Not many. Very enjoyable experience with a great view of the San Gabriel Mountains. It's a fun place to take out of town guests.
