The restaurant was decorated in hot rod memorabilia. I had Thunder Road which was a opened faced chili burger with a mountain of curly fries and my husband had a burger & side salad. His burger had cheese & an onion ring garnish. The servings definitely quelled your hunger! It was delightfully delish!

While working in the area I stopped here for Dinner one night. The menu offers breakfast all day, so I opted for the Waffle Supreme which is 2 (yes 2) waffles and eggs with bacon. Quite a plate full of food. The service was a bit on the slow side, and while some of the decor looks like interesting photos... More

The food was average. The service was average. They would do themselves and there customers a service by obtaining better quality of products. They are practically he only game in town for sit down food and I think they take advantage of that.

There aren't many restaurants in Angels Camp. It's hard to find one that is a level or two above fast food but below the dress-up-&-go-out-&-pay-$$$. Diner-style decor / 50s hot rod vibe brightens the interior. Choice of Soup or a basic Salad Bar trip comes with some dinners. Food was reasonably priced, but not good quality & taste. Cashier &... The clam chowder soup was average but the turkey sandwich with bacon and cheese was superb. The flavor and taste of the sandwich was quite good and the quality of the preparation of the bacon added a fantastic touch to the dish. i would definitely be willing to try some of their there selections.

in the off season the streets roll up early in Angels camp. Rodz Grille closes at 8 on weeknights. The food was decent, regular diner food, nothing special but no complaints and the staff had no problem seating us even though they were about to close and they didn't rush us out.

We found this place because we needed breakfast and we were four couples. There is no other breakfast / cafe place really big enough in Angela Camp. We were pleased with the service and the food. Good portion size and also tasty. Also good value for the money.

We tried this spot because our first choice was closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. My wife had a steak smothered in mushrooms with a baked potato. The steak was cooked exactly as ordered. I had the salad bar. It was good enough that we went back for lunch today.

Had Breakfast at Rodz. Food was OK, nothing special. Interior needs a remodel. Wait staff needs to step up their game. 2 1/2 out of 5.

Breakfast was good; service prompt and friendly. Would definitely eat there again. Could use a little decor update, but that doesn't detract from why we're there, to eat.

Thank Bob F
