My first time at Sahara and I got to say, I Was IMPRESSED. I will definitely return. The location is great with plenty of parking. The interior of the restaurant is cafeteria style. Hole in the wall with delicious cuisine. We had chicken kabobs, dolmas, and a spinach falafile. Humus and baba ganash served with pita bread. Plenty to eat and take home.

This restaurant is located within the wonderful ethnic enclave, Little Arabia! There are A LOT of Middle Eastern dining options in the area so it can be hard to choose. I wanted to grab something quick on a Friday night and this place had good reviews so I decided to try it. I was greeted with friendly faces upon entering... More

Sahara falafel makes a sandwich that is up to the standards of the ones you find in the mid-east. I've been hunting for a good falafel for a while and this is the real deal. Shawarma combo also very tasty.

Sahara Falafel has become my favorite Middle Eastern Resturaunt because of the Unique Taste, Freshness and Quality. The Meat is Deliciously Marinated, then Grilled to Perfection, the rice has a soft and satisfying flavor, the salad is Always Crisp and Fresh, with an array of beautiful crunchy pickles and veggies, and a light dressing made of olive oil, arabic spices... No thrills restaurant. Seating is very limited and on the casual side, but the food is awesome. The service is a bit slow, but improving given the amount of business they do.

A tiny middle eastern place in the corner of a 7-Eleven strip mall off Brookhurst and Orange, across the street from In-N-Out. This place is open from 10 am to 2 am daily, and there's seating for maybe 20-24 people. I yelped this place beforehand, and knew the portions were large, so Stephen and I shared the Mixed Kebob plate,... More
