The burgers and fries are the best around. What I like is they have shakers of red pepper flakes that you can add to your burger and/or fries. Truly a great burger. Service is fast and friendly and you can sit at the bar and watch them cook your burger. Wish they were open in the evenings; they close around... More

If you don't want grease, stay away. Tasty burger. But honestly I come for the crushed ice as much as the burgers.

I have family in Athens and try and grab a burger from Dubs anytime I am in town. The burger is a classic gut buster and definitely requires a developed stomach. The menu is pretty simple and affordable. If driving on I-65 skip the usual fast food, especially if passing through at lunch time, and grab a burger at Dubs.

Dubs is a bit of a right of passage in Athens. You have to try it at least once. So I took my husband there who is a Huntsville native and told him about the hype. He enjoyed his food and mine was okay but we waited over 45minutes to get our burgers. And they are so greasy there that... More

If you want a quick basic, inexpensive burger I would take Dub's over Krystal, Sonic or Burger King anytime. Good service and very fair price.

Let's face it, Dub's is not fine dining. But it you want a greasy cheeseburger, then Dub's has a good one. I had the double cheeseburger (all the way) and fries. The flavor was very good. Next time, I will probably leave off the slaw. My fries were not cooked completely but they were ok.

This little burger cafe is a staple in Athens. Their burgers are the best tasting . But warning they are addictive. Can't eat just one. Love the burgers fries and they have the best "chip" ice. If you are looking for a good local burger this place is for you...

They did not seem like they wanted to be there and that I was putting them put and wasting their time when I was ordering. If they hate their jobs than maybe they should find new ones... or better yet retire! Okay that was mean and I didn't mean that but come on!!! It was a cool little old timey... More
