By far, Springhouse is best restaurant in Central Alabama. Chef Rob McDaniel had created a true destination dining experience. The setting is breathtaking, facility is world class and the food and service exceed five star standards. Just creates a great memory by dining here! Don't miss it!!

Very high brow menus, food is great, but then so is the price. If you get the right server, the evening can be wonderful. That makes or breaks the experience

If you go to this restaurant get ready to break out the check book. It was good food and a cool experience but nothing I am going to do twice. Don't get me wrong, this place is a great place just isn't my type of place on the lake. I'm more of a flip flop half water logged type guy.

The Springhouse has a delicious and very reasonably priced Brunch menu on Sundays. My wife and I both has the Southern Breakfast of Soft scrambled eggs smoked bacon and a huge biscuit with sawmill gravy. The eggs were Delicious and cooked perfectly. We also had a delicious bloody Mary to start the meal and finished with the "Coconut Chess Cake"... More

A very nice building for an enjoyable dinner. Little pricey for some but overall very good. My wife and I always celebrate special occasions each year. Rob and crew have taken very good care of us. Our son did his internship from Auburn and landed an awesome job from the experience he received from Rob. Food is outstanding!

This is a drop dead gorgeous building . It is clean with ample seating . Food is good , but not nearly as good as it should be for the prict. Great wine list , and a good selection of single malt scotch .

My wife and I love to dine at the SpringHouse when visiting Lake Martin. We have dined there twice. Last night was for our Anniversary. The ambience is chic rustic with a tall barn like interior, wooden beams, and stone walls. The kitchen staff are busy behind a counter and a huge wood burning oven. Our waitress was prompt and... In mid-September, four of us went to Springhouse for the first time. I live at Lake Martin and had wanted to go. I was not disappointed. Let me say that the servers appeared to be well-meaning (and fairly well-trained) novices--this isn't the busy season so they may be training. It just means a certain lack of confidence and knowledge, but... More

Description
Rising out of the hilltop, the 200-seat SpringHouse Restaurant will treat diners to a local cuisine served in rustic, casual elegance. The first architectural element guests will see as they enter the main dining room is the inglenook-a large fully-functional walk-in fireplace, which served as the center of the home in medieval times. At SpringHouse, the inglenook serves as a hot appetizer station during dining hours and a classroom during the day. As they pass the inglenook guests will notice handsome bars, rough-hewn beams, hand-forged ironwork, and a magnificent open kitchen, replete with a wood-fired oven and grill. The upstairs bar and dining area will focus on small plates and provide adults a place to relax and gather. Patios with working fireplaces flank the main dining room and upstairs bar. For special events, guests are invited to reserve the Well House-a private 12-seat dining room connected to the restaurant by an underground tunnel.
