You won't find any higher-quality mussels in DC than at Brasserie Beck. All varieties are superb, but the veal bolognese are my favorites!

So, my first time to ever dine alone. What a great place to do so! The food, the ambience, the service, the music! Everything was perfect!

Food was fantastic...bar staff were super attentive and their knowledge of the menu and what would work for you is great. Service was flawless even though it was a very busy night with a couple of large parties. Highly recommend!!

Brasserie beck captures the atmosphere of the brasseries in Belgium but at K Street business-account prices. A burger runs around $20. But the food is delicious (oysters) and the service is great. Lots of space for business lunches and dinners, and a huge beer menu.

We sat outside on a sunny cool day in October, ordered the mussels with mushrooms and WOW. Wasn't sure what type of beer to order and our server helped us match up what we would like according to the type we normally would order. It...More

The food was interesting and enjoyable and the service was excellent. This restaurant has numerous small "rooms" so that even if there are a lot of people dining, the noise level is low.

We dined inside on a busy Saturday evening in D.C., avoiding the traffic, flies, and birds of the terrace. The décor is charming and looked French/Belgian. The menu had interesting choices, mussels to fine pate. That we had, and decided the pate mousse was the...More

I came here for a group event - good place for companies to have small gatherings here. The restaurant is not big but great food - I had mussels, beef stew and bread budding - all very flavorful!

Sorry just saw your question as I'm overseas in France. Other folks gave appropriate answers as we rely on Google maps and apple map app even when we visit DC and we're sort of local being from northern Virgimia.
