Brasserie Beck, like all good Belgian restaurants, sells mussels in a number of different sauces. For Sunday brunch, we shared the Mussels with Wild Mushrooms, Applewood Smoked Bacon and Truffle Cream Sauce, which was superb. We followed with excellent omelettes with salad on the side....More

Nice decor and great service saved my disappointment in the beer selection. Sadly I do not favor Belgian Style brews, but if you enjoy them you will like your choices here. The happy hour half price seafood tower was fresh and full of food. Sauces...More

We dined at the restaurant at the recommendation of friends. I ordered the onion soup which was terrific - among the best I have tasted. My wife ordered seared scallops that were also delicious. For me the menu doesn't hold much interest. The only items...More

Dinner for 40 was pretty well organized, and food was good, but portions were so small, that I ate again with friends after dinner. Each table was served enough food for each person to have some vegetables, a 3"x4" portion of a fish fillet, ~3/4...More

Ordered 1/2 doz of east coast oysters, 1/2 portion of Chapel Hill mussels and 1/2 portion of white wine mussels. It was plenty for lunch because we had lots of bread to soak up the sauce! Yummy! Thanks Victor for his Chapel Hill recommendation!

The beef tartare was great, and the gnocchi was the best gnocchi I've ever had. I am still daydreaming about them hours later. Visited August 2017

Stopped here again for repeat visit to DC. Fortunately we did not get rained on while seated outside. Waitstaff was friendly and very well informed on food offerings as always. I had the heirloom tomato salad and crab cake. Wish I could import that salad...More

Sorry just saw your question as I'm overseas in France. Other folks gave appropriate answers as we rely on Google maps and apple map app even when we visit DC and we're sort of local being from northern Virgimia.
