I’m very sad to write this review. I’ve been eating at Annie’s for 45 years and knew Annie personally before she passed a few years back. The food was always spot on delicious and reasonably priced. I hadn’t been in a while so stopped in...More

Nice place ,soft lights. We were a large group and had some difficulties with service although There Was an evident but not sufficient effort to be effective. Fish Was good ,fries not. Salad Was overwhelmed with blue cheese. Red Wien Was average.

Annie's is a bit of history in NW DC. In spite of the expansion onto the sidewalk, she hasn't gotten to big for her britches. The food is great American fare, especially the steaks and fried chicken.

Annie's is welcoming and warm. The food is great and the drinks are better! Check out the brunch! It's well worth the wait.
