Your family can it here, yes, not to starve, but be prepare to leave double or triple money of what you would spend in Cafe at Air and Space Museum, and not to complain about taste or lack of healthy choices.

Located right on the mall, this is convenient with good food choices...worth a stop....good salads, sandwiches and drinks.

We ate here for lunch while visiting the museum. It was expensive (as we were expecting) $12 for bbq sandwich and fries. Food was subpar. Cost $126 for 7 people. Will not eat here again. We had a sunset picnic (in front on the Washington monument) from a Greek food truck for $40 and it was delicious!

While at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, we tried the Atrium for lunch. Don't bother. Cafeteria style with food on plates sitting under a heat lamp. Expensive and low quality. Only good thing was bottomless drinks. Will not go again.

We ate here because we didn't want to leave the museum yet. And probably I would eat here again for the same reason, but I wouldn't be happy about it. It's a captive audience, so prices are high and food selection and quality is mediocre. It's crowded, so expect to walk around to find a seat. My son and I... More

The Café is ideally located between two Galleries of Modern Art. The settings are fabulous and artistically designed. After a hard days visit to the museums we landed at this place on a sunny afternoon. It is a self service Café. But it had a quite a few vegetarian options and the preparations are good .But felt prices to be... More

We had veggie burger, Mac and cheese, french fries and salad. They have cheese pizza. That's about the vegetarian choices you have. Really busy Saturday evening. The lines moved in really quickly though.

We were given a waxed cup for our coffee without realising it. Filled it with coffee and it began to melt, then bits of wax started floating in it. Returned to service counter to be told " I gave you a cup" and we said it melted. She very begrudgingly gave us another and we did get a slightly better... More

Very practical, situated in between two wings of the National Galleries of Arts, it is a very pleasant place, with a well diseigned and decorated area. Very artistical. The restaurant is on a self service basis. The food is OK, the price slightly above the offered quality. But the place can compensate the over-ranked food.

AVOID AT ALL COST! Went in for breakfast with my husband while on holiday in Washington, was recommended it by the check in clerk at desk. When we got there it was only 10:30am so to me still breakfast time. They still had breakfast food available in the serving tray. I asked for bagel and cream cheese for the guy... More
