They consistently have wonderfully fresh sushi on hand and one of the more diverse sushi menus. The staff is a bit terse but it doesn't stop me from indulging when I need my sushi fix.

This is a solid mid-range sushi joint in the new 'downtown DC' area -- across the street from Milk Bar (where you should go for dessert after). It was not too busy at 7 pm mid-week, and the service is friendly and fairly prompt. I sat at the large sushi bar area, which was clean. The sushi menu is fairly... More
We went here after a long day sightseeing and were so happy with the food! We had the tempura vegetables, chicken teriyaki and the chicken gyoza and all of it was delicious. The prices were very reasonable and the service was very good. If we were in DC longer I would definitely go back!
Visited with family including three small children. Set up was friendly and relaxing for the kids - good environment Great noodle dishes, great sushi, tempura very good. Service was good
I came for the happy hour which could be enjoyed from a table (not required to sit at the bar) BUT read the fine print which requires each person to order TWO drinks to qualify for the discounts. I wasn't sorry to order the $14.95 special 10 pc roll which included asparagus, crunchy shrimp and sashimi and which also came... More
It was a great experience visiting the capital for the first time. We took the kids and they loved it too. we were hungry and decided to walk across the street from out hotel room. The staff was really nice and allowed us to order a take out on rolls they normally do not allow for. Thank you and the... More
My boss and I ate here on the first night we were in DC for a conference. We got Edamame, Soft Shell Crab tempura and a spicy tuna roll and a red dragon roll. Everything was delicious and we had great service. The outside seating was all taken, so we ate inside, but were able to get a table by... More
Food is great and unpretentious. The tempura is done perfectly and less heavy than many ships. Try the avedashi fried tofu appetizer, the Nabeyake is In or the ramen. Each are rendered authentically and the prices are reasonable. I feel stingy in not providing a fifth star but I try to reserve that for fancy ambience our lube music. Otherwise... More
We had a couple of Happy Hour beers and some Edamame beans and watched the rush hour crowds go by. Prices reasonable considering we were in the centre of Washington
