My wife and I went to Indique following a movie at the Uptown theater. Our appetizer of sweet potato chaat was very good as were the breads,However my Kerala fish curry was so salty as to be inedible and had to be sent back, The replacement seemed to be the same fish in a watery and still salty sauce. My... More

We had a wonderful dinner at Indique. We were pleased with our appetizers of samosa chaat and seekh kebab, and the main courses of chicken tika makhani and chicken curry Indique. Inquiring about the heat in the lamb vindaloo, we were assured that it "wasn't too bad (spicy)", but we found it almost too hot/spicy to eat. We will know... More

I'd first come to Indique for a dinner that was just so-so - competent, but not inspired, and simply the "usual" Indian dishes people have come to expect from overseas Indian restaurants. We returned for brunch, and I was very glad - the brunch dishes were cooked to order, and each one was special. The Dosa Fun" was just as... More

Food quality was reasonable to good but too little food and drink for the money. I ordered fresh orange juice and they brought half a medium glass of OJ and ice, i.e. one fourth of a glass of OJ for $5. The lunch items were unbelievably small. The service was OK but I had to ask for refill of water.... More

I have visited Indique several times, general with groups of friend. Space in the restaurant is tight and the volume can be quite loud, but the food is always good. Hard to go wrong...deconstructed samosa, mini dosa, shrimp puchka, chutney sampler, tikka makhini(marsala) - all excellent.

This dinner was a wonderful treat. Expecting the Indian food I generally get, I was surprised by the different preparation of my dish. It was wonderful; flavorful and a nice change. You won't be disappointed here with the delicious food.

The number of Indian folks at the restaurant is a testament to its authenticity -- though all of the dishes are not fully traditional, but modern twists on Indian classics. The lamb dishes are standouts, and the Cookie Butter Dosa is a brilliant invention. But service is below par and slow -- good luck getting refills for water or coffee!... More

Made a reservation and was seated right away on a Saturday night. Great food, atmosphere and service. Will definitely come back here when we are back in D.C.

Unique brunch experience ($20 per person for unlimited servings) with small plate appetizers and entrees. Service is very good. The restaurant appears very popular and, based on our experience deserves the attention. Loads of vegetable-based dishes, potato dishes and a lovely Masala omelet make for perfect brunch fare. The usual round of alcoholic (with an Indian name) and non-alcoholic beverages.... More

We had Sunday brunch which is unlimited for $20 per person (non-alcohol version). The menu has variety of Indian items but all have a unique twist. We ordered Samosa Chaat, Chicken Kebab Eggs Benedict, Achari Chicken Paratha Taco, Appam Waffle Sundae, Cauliflower Pecorino Kulcha, Shreekhand Parfait and Cooke Butter Dosa. Samosas was usual with no twist, benedict was slightly cold... More
