I had my son's rehearsal dinner at this pleasant French bistro. The entrees were excellent, the staff was accommodating and efficient. We chose 3 entrees that our guests could select. Dinner was excellent! Owner was easy to work with & accommodated all my requests. Great place for dinner too!

This restaurant is one of many, many fine small restaurants sprinkled around D.C. It is in a converted "townhouse" at 2653 Connecticut Avenue N. W., just up the street about a hundred yards from the Omni Shoreham Hotel. The ambiance is warm and friendly. The staff was attentive without either hovering or becoming invisible for long periods. I started with... More

This is a good bet for a quiet dinner. I was attending a conference at the very nearby Marriott Wardman. A colleague and I enjoyed a nice french/mediterranean dinner. Nothing amazing, but all good. the service was good and the wines by the glass are well chosen.

The set-up here is a bit unusual; the upstairs is a cozy French bistro and the downstairs is a somewhat downtrodden pizza take-away joint, but you can order from the pizza menu when you sit in the bistro. Go figure. It's what I did, and was very pleased with myself, as I much prefer pizza to bistro food... My margarita... More

This charming restaurant is amazing. If you are in the Woodley Park/Zoo area this is a restaurant that you should visit. I had the onion soup and the duck confit. Both were superb and the service was spot on.

Since we were staying at the Marriott Woodmen Park we decided to go to this restaurant for a dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were not disappointed. He had the tasting menu which came with wine pairings and every course he thought was great. They brought him a special birthday surprise. They also have private dining rooms upstairs which... More

At conference at nearby hotel and had lunch here. Staff was attentive initially and at end (had to ask for hot sauce for fries 3x with only 2 other tables in same room). Lovely wood fireplace made dining room feel cozy on cold day. Fish soup was good. Lamb and goat cheese sandwich had good flavor but lamb was just... More

Having become tired of the usual formulaic fare on offer in most restaurants my wife and I were on the lookout for something a bit different and more upscale. We found it here. It's a small restaurant close to the Woodley park-Zoo metro and it offers genuine French cuisine that is authentic in taste and well-presented. We split a prawn... More

Cute, little place serving more than French: pasta and pizzas, too. I enjoyed the grilled seafood salad and it’s fresh grapefruit (a great pairing for most shellfish). About $30 per person for lunch, no booze or dessert, before tip.

The green salad was good, the salmon with beans was very good but small portion sizes, the lasagne had no cheese and was small, the chicken & fries is the best value to get plenty to eat.
