The atmosphere is very modern but the restaurant is noisy for conversation. Fun place for drinks. We were really looking forward to trying on our visit to DC as this restaurant is highly rated. We liked it but was fell a little short. The hummus...More

Cross of Greek, Turkish and Lebanese dishes. Everything we had was excellent, terrific ingredients, spices and preparation. Had a Greek Chardonay that was excellent. Fun place

I was in a hurry at lunchtime in a busy part of town. What to do? Walk into the most crowded place around and ask for a table; at least a 45 minute wait. I head over to the bar and "rail" and quickly found...More

During a recent trip to D.C. we made reservations at Zaytinya. Having been raised by a Lebanese step father I was very familiar with the various dishes. There were 5 of us and we split 12 different varieties. I especially loved the squid and lamb...More

The food is basically tappas from Greece, Turkey, and the Middle East. Vast menu that is affordable and extremely tasty. I recommend the spiced ground lamb. The ambiance is noisy, happening, and busy. Service is very slow. Bring a couple of hours if you want...More

A big, modern, high-energy place, great for people-watching, and filled with DC's young, affluent crowd - who all seemed to be having a great time one recent Saturday evening. But the truth is, after sampling many mezze dishes, we found that the food wasn't that...More

We came for dinner on one of the chilly Saturday nights in May. We were told that it would be about 45 min to 1 hr wait, however we were seated within 20 min. Our joy was premature, however. After waiting for another 10 min...More

Do they have a dress code of any sort? Would like to eat here before a Wizards game, so we will likely be in t-shirts and jeans.

One of the things I really liked about this place was that although it is a smart, fairly pricey restaurant there was no attitude about the fact we were in Climate Change t-shirts and carrying signs when we arrived after the... More
