This place has been plucked from NY/NJ and drop in DC. My favorite food is sandwich and this place does it right! Their meatball sub is amazing and the customer service is the best! If you are visiting DC this is a must and is a locals secret!

Simply a great place for an authentic Italian sub...that's right , not a hero....a sub! These Subs are loaded and the rolls are fresh each day. I have had most of the subs on the menu, and I can say they are all great. Don't miss the meatball sub. If your from the Northeast, you will not walk out disappointed.... More

Epic "G" Man with everything and both peppers on a soft roll. Cannot be beat. Take away only. Parking out front tough, lots double park on Pennsylvania Ave if meters are full. Be aware of lunch rush, can be busy but worth the wait.

I really enjoyed the sub sandwiches they made for our business meeting. Everyone seemed pleased with their meal. Rolls were fresh with the right amount of chewiness. My chicken salad was fresh, tasty and heaped on the sandwich. I've never seen the shop, but can vouch for their excellent sandwiches. Prices seem reasonable too.

Been meaning to try this place for months, so today stopped in for the G-Man and meatball subs. Just yummy, and, yes, the best subs in DC.

I visit Mangialardos to get lunch for the office. Usually not less than 8 subs are ordered, and made to perfection. The subs and sides are fresh and delicious.

This is an ideal spot and so affordable. Very authentic and delicious. I recommend the hot peppers on any sandwich. Call ahead for quick pick up and since they now take credit cards it is very convenient. The owner and all of the staff are very nice. Next I will try breakfast.

This is a cop shop--open 7am to 3pm weekdays only. The GMAN is the best sub in DC, hands-down for taste and price. The owner and family are awesome and I love grabbing lunch here.

Mangialoardo's has the best subs in DC. This family-run shop serves the kind of subs I grew up eating from sandwich shops, delis, and pizza parlors in Northern NJ. The meats and cheeses are quality and thinly sliced. Not shaved! Bread is fresh baked and the resultant sub is a thing of beauty! At Mangialardo's you can treat yourself to... More
