The service was not great, but it wasn't terrible. The decor and general ambiance of the place is not good, but the food makes up for it.

I ordered Satay Chicken (tasteless), and roasted pork fried rice (which had more flavor, than the chicken). My daughter ordered Kung Pao chicken, and it had too many peanuts. The portions were generous though! I would rather gone to a different place because it was pricey for lunch!

The place on the H Street and one floor up from the street. The selection of Chinese food is great. Prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly. The seating area is with minimal in facilities and could improve on decor. I recommend it for quick, cheap Chinese food.

No too crowded, good service, and great food for a good price. Their menu offers the typical dishes you would expect from your average Chinese restaurant, but the quality of the food is better than your neighborhood place. Definitely recommend trying this place out!

I'm attending the Washington Auto Show at the Washington Convention center. The walk to this restaurant is conveniently located 10mins from the Convention center. This restaurant is surrounded by many other restaurants so there are plenty of options near by if you so choose to change your mind. Though it's in China Town there are many other ethnic food choices... More

Inexpensive, and you get much food. The food is good. Please note that you must climb steps to enter the restaurant.

This was our first time eating in Chinatown & we were not disappointed. The food was amazing & the place was affordable. Our family of 5 ate for$70, including tip! We're already planning a trip back!

Ducked in for a late lunch and were dumbfounded at speedy service and delicious food. Extensive menu and each item we ordered was tasty.

Eat First is located just about a 1/2 block across the street from the Gallery Place Metro Stop. Outside the front has a celebrity picture of John Travolta as a guest eating here so we thought that it should be a recommended place for a decent Chinese dinner. As it turns out, the service was good but the food is... More

An American friend took us along to this place and we're so glad she did. The restaurant has absolutely no frills to it, simple decor and formica laminated tables. But the food is excellent. We started with wonton and hot & sour soups, then had a number of different dishes on the table to share - szechuan chicken, scallops &... More
