The worst part of business travel is eating alone. At least dinner at Grillfish made it as pleasant as can be. I had a bowl of the seafood chowder, the mixed grill and a slice of carrot cake. My waiter Domonic's recommendations were outstanding. Good food and great service! I may have to try it again before I leave DC.

Visited this restaurant twice during our stay. Both food and service are excellent. Wish I had time to try even more of their menu. Perfectly located by our hotel. Its a good tip to book table in advance as the place is very popular

We were staying in the neighborhood of 21st and M in Washington DC and wanted a good seafood meal and short walk. We were referred to Grillfish, across the street from our hotel. They managed to get us in on a busy Saturday night without a reservation and with a reasonable wait time. We started with the fennel salad and... More

We ate both lunch and dinner at Grillfish during our recent stay on DC. The staff was helpful and friendly during both meals. They have a great kids menu, and delicious food for the whole family. We were able to be seated immediately both times we dined. Highly recommend!

Each dish we had was well crafted and extremely tasty. I must highlight the calamari with ginger and tamarind, it was the best we had anywhere... More

Upon the recommendation of a gentlemen at our hotel, we went to Grillfish. So glad we went. The fish in the fish tacos was flakey and moist and the fries tasty. The mixed grill was excellent, moist and tender. My husband said Tha the buffalo mac and cheese was the best he has ever had.he would go back just for... More

My wife and I found this seafood establishment in DC. It turned out to be one of those rare exceptions you encounter. The chowder and skewered seafood were, as I said, done to perfection, and Antonio, our server, did us well.

The seafood chowder was very good. Emily and Dominic gave me a very good recommendation to add a couple scallops to the grilled shrimp scampi over lingui. Kudos to Emily and Dominic! We will be back.!
